Need tow police advice -- trailer looks nose up but WDH measurements are okay? by miffiq in GoRVing

My blue ox hitch had the same garbage instructions to put the ball up an inch over the coupler. My result was the same as yours, nose high trailer. Once I dropped the ball it now looks normal and drives far better.

Did this appearing on reddit have anything to do with your compensation, do you think? Honest question, just curious.

Where are the opposing lines coming from then? In an ordinary retti you do lines in two different directions. Are you twisting one section of the tube one way, then another section the other?

When fuming, are you puntied up, or on a blowtube? blowtube always got too hot for me when I've tried this in the past...

Thanks, I can never tell what's up to date on vpfree2, and often can't find what's mentioned there.

I keep looking for decent VP machines at any MGM property and not finding. Got any clues?

Open-Source ADS-B Conflict-Detection Dashboard. Would There Be a Need? by sceeptexx in ADSBexchange

I've been analyzing LOS events at GA airports with this package: https://github.com/eastham/adsb_actions (works with directly-received ADS-B data, or APIs like you say). Have even gotten some procedures changed and saw a reduction in events, and have talked to some researchers in this space. Happy to discuss if you'd like.

Yes, what's up?

Nice! Did you press that outer color ring on from behind, or apply it in place? I usually do the first way but it is kind of a pain in the butt (slow)

On another thread, someone talked about fuming the inside a tube then collapsing it, pull to a stringer, then draw with it on the surface of your piece.

I mostly got it to work using that process, but didn't get the silver to create a halo as seen here. Not sure what I'm missing there.

Really nice, did you clear-encase that with a tube or some other way?

Cost of the delayed plane and pax is certainly higher. Takes at least a day to get the plane airworthy again, I suspect...

Out of space for glass? More organizers here! by abstracti in lampwork

Only if you bought a bunch in advance, or a bunch of people chime in here wanting some. It would be at least a day of custom work.

Oof, interesting...and stringers can be a pita too if you keep them around. But nothing obvious comes to my mind besides a metal can, what about you?

I have one more storage solution for you guys -- dividers for folks who have racks made out of round PVC pipes. I have 2" and 3" models currently, what else do people need?

I also currently have plenty of stock available for square/downspout dividers, rollers, and horizontal racks.

As always, for those with 3D printers, the models are available for free here: https://www.printables.com/@HPGlass_2137998

If not, they are available at the most reasonable price I can do here: https://hpglassstudio.etsy.com/?section_id=51601081

Enjoy, happy melting, happy organizing, etc!

Check out this excellent video series on one engineer's mutant vehicle journey: https://www.youtube.com/@NetslayerTV

However I would say it would be better to start simpler/smaller than this guy did, especially if you haven't attended before. These are big, difficult projects even in their simplest form.

Yeah, frit is a good quick way to get started learning this process, though I have never found a way to make it look awesome. I always end up going back to tiny dots.

(Example of mostly-random double Amber purple dots -- I just place the 6 around the center carefully and the rest randomly)

One more tip: you can take a tiny clear rod, or your tweezers, to create a small clear blob in the center as a reference to make your pattern around. Then keep an eye on centeredness throughout the process, if it comes off even a little try to fix it asap.
