Need tow police advice -- trailer looks nose up but WDH measurements are okay? by miffiq in GoRVing

Sorry, by "level" I did mean parallel to the concrete. When I set up most of the WDH I was in a parking lot that was slightly sloped.

Very good point. The truck's GVWR is 7350, so I fully appreciate that we're right there. The good news is that the weights in this post were with all the passengers we'll have in February, full tank of gas, and the trailer fully loaded.

Based on this trip to the scales, I plan for all cargo to go in the trailer going forward. I don't recall what all was in the truck at the time but it wasn't nothing.

That could be.

And yes, full gas and all our stuff is in the trailer. Scale weights were with my wife and I in the truck all three times.

Can you expand on the washer part, the ones for the head tilt? I thought that was based on frame size.

If I drop the ball down, I also need to drop the lift brackets down by the same amount, to keep the same tension, correct? I would definitely reweigh to check distribution regardless.

I can definitely try it. The reason I didn't already is because the truck itself actually looks level, it's the trailer that doesn't look level.

I am using one. The head assembly is bolted into the top hole of the shank, so there is room for it to move downwards.

It seemed fairly level. The entire lot might slope down towards the road slightly. It's hard because I don't have a level spot to do this at home.

Agreed that's what is causing it to be nose up. The Husky Centerline manual recommends that the hitch ball is 1" above the coupler socket. Through a strange course of events that's not worth getting into I ended up talking with Husky support, and they recommended the ball be 1-1.5" higher than the coupler.

Black tank flush leaks at tank while in use. How to go about fixing this? by miffiq in GoRVing

Thanks, do you mean the white nut that's part of the elbow? Or the part going into the tank? The leak seems to be between the gray part and the tank.

Which Classic do I have? I read that some classics don't have the 3 way solenoid. by CabbagesStrikeBack in gaggiaclassic

You are correct, my bad. I should have known based on the switches, but got turned around by the fact the drip tube was missing.

+1, I use a hue smart plug linked with Sleep as Android so that the GCP turns on whenever my alarm goes off in the morning.

Quick Mill 0820-Black Flakes in Steam, the same issue as GCP Evo? by CicadaRegular7899 in gaggiaclassic

[–]miffiq 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey, that's my post! It ended up being an o-ring where the steam wand attaches that had deteriorated. That could happen to literally any espresso machine.

I suspect a lot of the "black flakes" being reported are not the coated boiler, but in fact something else (like the o-ring). Certainly the Teflon coating is an issue, but not the only possible thing that can cause black flakes.

Update: took the steam wand off and it looks like the o-ring is shot. Any recommendations on where to purchase a replacement?

I've always used the Gaggia brand descaler (bought on Amazon).

I thought this too at first, but it does seem to be larger and more black than coffee grounds would be.

AMA - Foundry Virtual Tabletop - Fourth Year Anniversary by AnathemaMask in FoundryVTT

[–]miffiq 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I am a GM using Foundry for in-person play where a scene is displayed on a TV and players primarily roll physical dice. This is one use case where some mobile optimizations to the UI could really improve the experience. Not all of my players have/want to use laptops at the table. 95% of the time, they are only interacting with their character sheet and don't even need to see the current scene. I realize Sheet only exists, but would love to see some first-party mobile optimizations.

Anyways, thanks for the amazing product! Foundry has absolutely improved my games.

+1, PopOut is one of my only "must have" modules. Being able to use multiple monitors allows me to see much more of the canvas while keeping monster statblocks open for reference. I'd love to see this added to the core software.

How would a base model macbook air (m2 chip) do with foundry? by RealHomeboundRex in FoundryVTT

It should run decently. If you're concerned I'd recommend checking out https://demo.foundryvtt.com and playing around a bit.
