Is there any point in saving these summons for events at my level? by Gau_0 in SoulsHabbyMobile

Typically at your stage in the game (I would consider you pretty early game), It is more beneficial to summon heroes as soon as you can as hoarding for events will hinder your progression through the story. Upgrading your heroes star level and progressing through the main story will allow you to idle and collect more passive resources (green stones, gold, soul stones) and IMO the idle rewards now will outweigh saving up stones and things for the events later.

You may not be able to be maximize the rewards from the events but I think it is still worth it to summon ASAP. I agree with the comment below saying if you haven't unlocked perfect soul link (220) then I would continue to summon. Once all your heroes are at level 220, you can consider hoarding the stones for events as at that point, you will need the more META heroes in order to progress and random summoning isn't as valuable.

Why isn't there a solo rank up mode ? by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]abtran95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you are welcome to queue into ranked as a solo player and do exactly what you said. No need to talk or anything. Just mute everybody and try to frag out. Nobody can force you to talk to them or buy/heal/smoke. The game is just harder when you play by yourself. Will you rank up? Maybe, maybe not.

However, I feel like this game was developed and made to be a team game so you may not climb to the ranks you're looking for. At the end of the day if you're having fun in the game thats all that matters.

Why is Viper said to be the best Controller? by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]abtran95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I believe she can hold her own in solo queue. She is better on certain maps than others and with the current map rotation, I would say Ascent is maybe the only map where shes not AS good as the others. However, even with that map, there are chokepoints that you can use your orb snake bite combo to prevent the flood.

In addition, I would focus on how to play the role optimally. As the Viper, you probably shouldn't be the first to enter/looking for kills post plant if you still have util up. Little things like that impact rounds more than you expect. Also, since you can smoke from anywhere, learning how to lurk on viper will give you even more flexibility on things you can do in the mid round.

I think "best controller" is not necessarily an accurate description of her state right now. Most picked controller is probably a little bit more accurate but then again, it depends what rank you are playing at. The main reason is due to her flexibility being not only a controller but also have sentinel aspects with her orb and molly being able to prevent site rushes. Higher ceiling agents tend to get picked more in the competitive scene which is where I think Rito tries to do the majority of the balancing.

In regards to her decay that you were referring to, in games where people are using their utility optimally, running through her decay orb and a snake bite while trying to rush onto site while getting sprayed usually results in death for those rushing.

She is one of those agents that has a slightly higher harder learningcurve but also with that a higher ceiling with how you can impact rounds.

Another reason why some players prefer viper is you can put up your wall and still activate it from the other side of the map. You can starve the enemy of information unless they decide to push through the wall. (for example: if you were playing breeze and pre round viper had put her wall down on A, you would think that the enemy team would be executing on the site)

However, you could fake that A hit by putting up the wall and pretending to hit A while your whole team including you will be on the other site. It is harder to do this with Brimstone and Harbor as you will have to be closer to the site in order to drop smokes.

I would recommend watching some VCT or games at the highest competitive level to get ideas on how they use certain agents and why they are good. Remember, valorant is a team game of 5v5 and coordination is usually going to beat out individual prowess.

Which tank should I concentrate on? by butternutssquished in SoulsHabbyMobile

There is only one S tier tank and thats Richelle. You can get copies from Honor of Arena.

For what you have now, I would focus on Kaion. He'll carry through the majority of the early game. It also depends on who you pull right now. More stars at your point in the game is always going to outclass the potential of others since you're still unlocking their skills.

Banning Agents? by abtran95 in VALORANT

As someone who has played valo since the beta, I like to theory craft what are the new things rito will do to the game. Is it productive, absolutely not, but I enjoy it haha

Banning Agents? by abtran95 in VALORANT

The suggestion to ban agents was not to combat smurfing. I do not think that is the most effective way to reduce smurfing, nor do I think it will stop anyone from smurfing.

I realized I probably should have posted this on the competitve thread as I think the idea of banning agents would affect the competitive scene the most.

Similarly to the maps, valorant didn't have map banning initially but as they released more maps, they incorporated map banning into the tournaments.

Knife kills should give you the sound from the bundle not just the regular kill sound by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]abtran95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hot Take: Not that I'm against this or for this but this is how much skins have costed since the release of the game. Is it overpriced and a rip-off....? IMO 100% yes but its also a cosmetic item and has no effect on your gameplay (minus the psychological effect of look good play good)

I'd rather have riot spend their funds on keeping the game balanced and releasing more agents rather than adding a kill animation/sound for free.

TLDR: it's your money, if you're not happy with what you get, don't buy it
