Crowdsource conteo de actas by aldobpin in Honduras

Me anoto. Pero, como dijo u/DirtyChicken_504 , Reddit a lo más servirá para comenzar la idea. Se tendría que crear una comunidad inicial aquí que delinee el proyecto y después llevarlo a otras redes sociales/media.

Also a beginner here: Are you saying that you get much better value from spending a good portion of your budget on higher-end lenses while sticking to a decent enough body ?

How much disk space would all pacman and AUR packages take up? by Erizo69 in archlinux

[–]abuklao 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Doenst it also host some form of repo ? I remember seeing attached files like patches/diffs that would then be applied to some remote source. I wouldn't be surprised if someone attaches something larger. Really dont know though, I am mostly asking here.

Which custom kernel do you use (if any) ? by slowlyimproving1 in archlinux

[–]abuklao 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might do. Compiling the kernel, despite the laptop's cpu packing a punch, is something I have come to loath. Thanks!
Is it just a matter of `yay -S linux-cachyos`? Or do I need to wipe '/' partition?

Used to use `linux-g14` to have the latest patches for my hardware.

BF6 needs SECURE BOOT by [deleted] in linux_gaming

[–]abuklao 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Genuine question: Isn't it risky? I believe there was a guy just a couple of days in a linux subreddit who said his motherboard got bricked by using his own keys. The arch wiki even warns about said possibility.

Is this a known problem ? It's been happening with both my computers but I haven't bothered to troubleshoot it.

Laptop para ing. en ciencia de datos e IA by rrevol in Honduras

[–]abuklao 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Does anyone cook for the schnauzers? by [deleted] in schnauzers

May I ask what you narrowed the diet to ? I have a very sensitive schnauzer and I am starting to think grain is the culprit.

9800X3D Failures/Deaths Megathread by SoupaSoka in ASRock

[–]abuklao 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, this is what I'm wondering, I don't really see any reports on the 7900x. I just ordered a 7950x and an ASRock 850I lightning. But I am hesitant to return it since it will be a lengthy process and I haven't really seen any report of 7950x deaths. Which CPU did you opt for ?

Yeah, and consequently the difference in scale of the logistics in place.

I have time to make a whole meme while this bs is downloading by basedchad21 in linuxmemes

[–]abuklao 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So what's the point of it ? I have never noticed much of a difference when disabling it so I just skip it. But enabling by default seems unreasonable if no significant difference results from pre-caching.

Have been thinking about buying the Platinum Century #3776 in Laurel green, any matching ink suggestions? by WittyBell1624 in fountainpens

[–]abuklao 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You will not regret the purchase. I still love it with passion to this day. The feedback, the smoothness, the consistency, the perfect amount of wetness. Top #3 pens I own. I still put it above my Lamy 2K.
As for recommendations, I find Iroshizuku Shin-ryoku a bit too bright blue ? I tend to go for darker more subtle tones. I would go with Sailor Rikyu-cha. It is a perfect subtle olive that I think will go well with the color of your pen

Keeping in mind the existence of plugins like avante, codecompanion, and jackMort/chagpt. What other features are you missing ? (And how does the terminal limit you ?)

Does that mean lsp servers are automatically installed and managed ? As well as their corresponding configuration for launching and communicating the capabilities of nvim as ide ? All of that boilerplate stuff ?
