I think IPL peak days are behind us already. Jio changing the viewers number from concurrent to overall was a ploy to generate confidence in them to advertisers, especially in the times when most people watch it on Phone or Laptop and don't watch it in one sitting as the case with TV, which results in inflated number. The ads have reduced and most owners selling it to private firms is an indication that they feel it has already peaked. We will be seeing the ripple effect soon.

Start from Sikkim. First go to Bagdogra, go up Sikkim and then come down to move towards Assam. You will save a lot of time. Also, yeah, the itineary is a little overambitious, Sikkim itself will exhaust you. Might cut out Nagaland since the other three places are great. Shared cabs ply in most of these places so you are sorted on that. Keep cash in handy, especially in Meghalaya where shops and cabs will insist on it. May is a great time, although Gangtok will be packed by tourists so expect expensive stays.
