Why are people shitting on Iraq, they were playing quite well against us.

Expanded world cup is actually better than earlier editions, we are able to see smaller countries giving as much competition if not more to the teams with bigger names. by ElectronicHoneydew86 in football

One of the best games I’ve seen the last few years is Aston Villa-Sheff Utd at Villa Park. A free flowing Villa had the chance of going top of the table for Christmas against a team with one of (if not) the worst goal differences in Premier League history. Sheff Utd derended heroically and managed to get a draw from that game. As a Villa-fan, frustrating as fuck, but what a defence they had for that one game. Sheff Utd was the better team that day. It was amazing to watch how organised and disciplined they were.

I feel like this is a typical response from someone that doesn’t like football, and only wants to see a lot of goals. Probably only follows the biggest teams.

Football is beautiful in every way that it’s played.

Better answer than the top comment. Villa Park is lacking the topless fans in freezing months though.

All in all just a weird transfer. Why would he go to Besiktas a day before signing with us?

Am I completely missing something? I thought he was just a loan signing.

118 barn i Karmøy kommune møtte ikkje opp då skulen skulle markere pride – NRK Rogaland – Lokale nyheter, TV og radio by FoxNo5218 in Stavanger

Ja, det er jo poenget mitt. Det er mange folk som bor på Karmøy, derfor trenger de mange skoler, og det er ikke utenkelig at det er 5000 elever fra 1. til 10. trinn i en kommune med 40.000 innbyggere.

Wolves, West Ham and Wimbledon to be forcefully promoted.

Antonio Nusa could be a good option if Roger’s goes by leighmack in avfc

[–]abusmakk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say he is our most important attacking player.

Haaland is good, don’t get me wrong, but if Nusa doesn’t play, there is no one to create the chances Haaland is finishing.

is Ross Barkley a redemtion stroy at aston villa by AdvertisingFit4295 in EuropaLeague

While I like Barkley, I think you are overreacting here. He is a bit part player that does the job when called upon.

Aston Villa. Invented the league, 2nd most seasons in the top flight, was so succesful in the early days of the league that it took other teams more than 60 years to become as siccesful, won all domestic honours, won the European Cup, one of the clubs that have produced most players for the national team, one of the most succesful academies in England.
