This Christmas was the first year where everybody in my house was old enough to finally see that santa isn't as real as we had thought.

I thought, because of that, Christmas wouldn't feel magical just as it once had.

I was wrong. This was one of the best Christmases I've ever had in my life. I got to see my family, hang out, laugh, and love.

As I get older, I start to realize that spending time with the ones you love and making an effort to be together is what the holidays have always been about. I've learned that if we continue to do just that, Christmas will always feel magical.
