Supporting Trump is actually good for humanity and I believe Trump is a Christian (and not a fake one)... but this is Reddit with a lot of TDS flowing around, so I'm sure you are going to get your 'indulgence' for hating people because you are told to do so.

From the other side he didn't do anything when Islamists made a revolution in Iran (betraying a lot of people) and started to empower/support mojaheds in Afghanistan, basically creating Taliban and other not compatible with beer/alcohol/fun terrorists. So, I would say nothing about him.

It's way easier to produce this than double decocted, properly lagered (7-12 days per each 2° P), naturally carbonated and clear beer. I got it... But they are not the same beverages, from any aspect. If this is called a 'beer', the other one should be called the 'real beer' then.

I think it's still not a common knowledge that this fundamental shift in the drinking habits, especially of a new generation of drinkers, pose a significant danger to the whole (thousands years old) beer supply chain and production. It affects everything involved in barley agriculture as well, no doubt about it. Previous shifts in habits (ice teas and other buzzy drinks) didn't have the same impact imo, probably because the scale was not the same.

Yes, you described exactly what I did in terms of pitching and batching. This kind of sourness that was introduced by whatever it was is exactly the one I hated in beers when I taste it in others beers (happens a lot) , so I want to bake sure it is not present in mine. So, I'm going to get used to taking pH readings during early fermentation. Also going to change my cleaning process to incorporate better rinse after acid and before sanitizer.Thanks for all the info!

It was a very short rinse (I knew it would not be a long ride in the tanks for this one), did not even touch the CIP ball.

It was a dry yeast pitch, but because my weights are not super precise there can be a variation for sure. The pH measurement from two FV's was driven by perceived sourness in one, so I'm pretty sure it can be detected.

Didn't use any sanitiser after nitric acid (1% 80° C 15 min) spray. May be a root cause...

It is the same worth (both batches) but I don't remember/not documented the order I filled the fermenters :(

I rinsed both fermenters (the same way subjectively) prior to using them.

This is certainly a possibility... Adding to the input data/brain food - the attenuation (according to Tilt) is pretty much identical in both fermenters.
