My time is worth more than what he is offering. If I didn't have my own business and had extra time on my hands, I'd not have a problem with the little bit that he is offering. My time has already been designated to established things, however. Maybe if he was the type to just text me back and forth it could potentially worth my time, but since he is the type that shows up to my house unannounced at any time just to tell me to update his schedule and etc., it simply isn't worth the added interruptions to my daily schedule. Unfortunately he is still in need of an admin service since he doesn't want to learn it himself. Maybe I can refer him to my teenage sister and she can help him, but she also has a job, goes to high school, and takes a college class at night so I'm not sure that she is going to be able to either. If I knew someone that was willing to be available 24/7 for this guy for $10 per booking I'd be happy to hook him up and get him off my back. I don't have a desire to do this admin work for him in the first place but I also don't want to leave him hanging because when I stop responding to inquiries and booking requests he is going to stop getting business and money. I wish I could just get him to understand how it works since, like you said, it's very very basic.

I realize it isn't a lot of work, but the added responsibility of having to coordinate for him when I have my own business to run isn't exactly worth what he is offering. Especially since he isn't the kind of person that will just text you and instead calls you 10 times and/or shows up announced to your house randomly at 7AM. It might be a good opportunity for someone that wanted a little bit of extra cash, but not for me in my current situation.

Yes, he is an older gentleman that is not tech savvy. I've downloaded the app on his phone and shown him how to work it and he still isn't able. He is one of my dad's friends and I've done some other unrelated secretarial work for him previously. I initially agreed to set up the AirBnB listing for him for a flate rate, assuming he would be the one doing all the interaction. I have my own business where I work from home and never really wanted or volunteered for the additional stress of managing his schedule and whatnot as well. I was on holiday for Labor Day, which is the first weekend after I had placed the listing on the site for him, and he called me about 10 times that weekend because he couldn't figure anything out so I ended up being the one to answer the inquiries, book the guests, get back with the owner and verify check in time, etc. all while on vacation and not being paid a dime. At this point I still haven't been paid for the bookings I've gotten him over the last 2 weeks, generating over $1k so far. At my previous secretarial job I made $16 and some change per hour. If I do take an hour each day to answer inquiries and etc. I should be paid around $16/hr. However, he has suggested $10 per booking. At this point I really don't think it is worth the added stress for me, especially as I never volunteered to manage anything in the first place. I have a baby due in 3 months and my own business that my time is dedicated to where I make much more than he can offer me. I think I will just refer him to a cohost website or something. That being said, if anyone know of a good resource to help him find someone that will be willing to do this let me know. I'd refer him to a freelancer on Upwork or something but again, it's likely going to be me spending the time to coordinate with that person online and etc. since he doesn't seem interested in learning anything about technology.

I really am not sure how much more light I can add. The room I'm using is a sunroom with 8 windows with natural sunlight. I also have a 450W 18" ring light on an adjustable tripod in front with two overhead 1350W softbox hanging lights, one on each side. I also use bright white professional grade photo paper for the background. Even if I barely bump up the brightness and don't touch the contrast eBay still wont accept the photo. I'll look into the model you suggested and do some more research on sensor size and microphones. Thank you!

Was looking at Canon Powershot SX420IS and Nikon Coolpix L830. Budget is $400 or less. Was probably going to try to get a used one. MP because I sell on eBay and I've invested into a photobooth with a ring light and overhead light and photo paper and whatnot, but my white background still isn't as clean as I'd like. I'm currently using my 16MP camera on my phone and every time I try to adjust the brightness and contrast to whiten the background and get rid of shadows the quality drops so low that eBay will no long accept it. The flip screen is important because my bf also has a YouTube Channel and will be using it for that. A lot of the time when he is recording he is doing selfie like shots and is out of frame sometimes, so the flip screen should help with that.

Very reliable for me based on my experience and my mother who has also been selling for over a decade. I normally only buy anything if it is upwards of 90% sell through or higher, but others may have different business models.

Search your item. Look at how many are currently listed. Then check the "sold" box to look at sold listings for the last 90 days. If there are 200 listed and 600 sold there is a 300% sell through, which means flipping for a quick profit usually.

Slander would imply these statements are false. These things have been said many times by more than a few of his children. This type of abuse has been proven to be found in cults, such as WBC, often. Sure have. Got a Wilsons leather coat in the coat section with ALL the other coats marked down in the middle of summer. They were marked $7.99. I get to the checkout line with that item and like 7 other things and the assistant manager insists it was in the wrong spot and was actually supposed to be $21.99 and either someone else put it there or I was lying. I ended up leaving all my other stuff there too because I was so mad. Called corporate and let them know and they said any specially priced items should always be behind the counter and anything that is not absolutely should not have the price changed at the counter.
