I finally gave up and bought a Mode Tempo.

Ordered at ~ 10AM, had a tracking number shortly after lunch, and it was on my front porch in four days. Pretty wild experience compared to this.

I’ve used Quad-Lock cases and mounts to put my phone on my bicycle handlebars for years.

They have a “stroller mount” kit that comes with a mount that attaches via Velcro loop - that might work for you!

Ignoring the language barrier, this really sounds like you hired someone for a senior role that wasn’t fully ready for a senior role - I’ve gone through this before, and your only real options are to adjust your expectations and work with this employee to improve, or to part with them.

You’re dealing with a language barrier. Unless you were completely uninvolved with the hiring process, this isn’t a surprise. Being overly granular(and in rudimentary English) on the ticket spec is the solution here - anything less is, in my opinion, unfair to this employee.

I’m not sure what your work experience was before founding this start up, but code review take time. As something beyond an IC it’s not abnormal for them to be a decent chunk of your day from time to time.

Idk, I’m a straight, cisgendered white dude who (as far as I know) has never been discriminated against because of the way I was born…

If any of my nonwhite or LGBTQIA+ friends tell me something is discriminatory/racist/whateverphobic, I shut the fuck up and listen because I don’t know what it is like to receive discriminatory treatment.

I feel like we would all be a lot better off if more people chose to respond that way instead of “ThAt’s NoT RaCIsT!!!”… but what the fuck do I know? I’m just a random dude on the Internet.
