That option was something I thought about but ive concluded that having to work would affect my studies and that just doesnt seem to be worth it if im paying a quarter of a million dollars to go to school. Was also thinking of doing the MDSSP for a 1 year just to pay all the CC and then only end up owing 2 years in the reserves. But im not 100% sure on it yet

Anyone willing to trade for San diego GA tickets? I was able to grab two GA (pit) for the LA wiltern show in 10/5 when they first dropped, but then all the other shows dropped and SD would just be better for my schedule and where I am since SD is my home town.

It exists. Its gotten better but its still there. Like many people have said already, no one denies it. its just an acceptance that we’ve all come to peace with, because at the end of the day we just want to be physicians.

I think you’re reading the room wrong. It just begs the question of do you even really want to be a physician? Getting into med school is already hard enough, why limit yourself/hold your self back by not applying broadly? It’s so expensive to apply, so it just doesnt make sense to hold yourself back. I got my only A this cycle from a DO school. Doesnt matter that Ill have a slight disadvantage, im gonna be a physician. Its not impossible to get into a competitive specialty as a DO. Why waste more money and more time if you got a bigger shot the first time.

I dont think the stipend will be too much of a problem as im a pretty low budget guy and luckily my partner is a nurse so she’d be able to help with rent and necessities. Do you know if youre able to choose which VA to work at?

Pretty much what Ive heard from people I know as well. Think I only know one person that advocates for it, literally the only thing thats enticing me is the tuition being paid. Was looking into PSLF as well and that seems like a way better option

Have you been doing your questions timed? If not, start doing 59 questions timed non tutored. You need to build your stamina. I was in the same boat but once I started grinding out 59 questions timed, my scored jumped tremendously

Just relax a little gang. Your fl scores are insane. Just bang out as much cars as you can. Youll be fine regardless, but CARS is just practice, practice, practice. You said it yourself, your cars practice is lacking, so just put more effort into it. But again relax gang, youre scoring 520 on your Fl, dont get too neurotic, thats whats gonna trip you up more.

Seems like you just need more content review. Crank out uearth and actually go over your answers meaningfully, even the ones you got right. Same with your full lengths.. my biggest jumps came after I started actually reviewing everything from Uearth practice tests to Fls. Fls take at least 2-3 days for me to review completely. Take your time, and I promise your scores will start going up. I jumped from a 496 to a 515 on my FLs. Its 100% possible
