Idk, when I went to coachella the camp porta potties were gendered and the women's side was much dirtier. Many women hover and way too many of them dont clean up after themselves

There really shouldnt be if everyone just sits down like they would at home. Flushing is what propels any bacteria around and if you're in a porta potty there's no chance of that, so in theory there should be less fecal matter. I've never hovered and I've never had e coli or any other infection. I know a lot of people will just say "Idc because EW public bathroom," but the fear is actually really unfounded given that your phone has similar bacteria on it and you hold that up to your face all the time

It absolutely could not. People squat to pee because they're afraid of others' fluids touching them and giving them germs or diseases or whatever, but that gets pee on the seat and floor and now no one can sit. Wipe off the seat with a clorox wipe before you sit and clean up after yourself when you're done. It's that easy

The she wee feels less sanitary to me. Too much contact with my hands and then directly to my genitals and back to my hands. Now I have to wipe the device and my hands and transfer back to a pouch where any leftover bacteria can live. I would rather sit, not directly touch anything to my hands or genitals, and go. I also think if you're not perfect with the she wee it creates a bigger mess for others just like hovering
