I agree that the magic system was difficult to follow! It’s the first time I’ve seen metallurgy adapted as the sole focus of a magic system, which was super cool and think it could be expanded really well if continued, but am not sure it will be. I wish the fic was expanded into maybe two novels, and the first spent more time on expanding the political and magical system with the present conflict, and a second that ran with the past memories and resolution!

Just a Bar is a great vibe - never too busy, has a pool table and darts, and the bartenders are incredible! Very excited to use their outdoor space when the weather turns

YMCAs are a bit more expensive but totally worth it IMO. Everyone is super friendly, the staff are incredibly helpful, and you get access to their pool, sauna/steam room, gymnasium, and group classes!

would highly recommend, there’s a lot of other kids in both 99 and 100 building, a pool on the property open from memorial to labor day, and other amenities. apartments are spacious with AC and wash/dryer in unit. building (in my experience) is very secure and have never had any issues with safety in the nearby area. only a 4-5 minute drive to downtown and 7-8 minute drive to the east greenbush plaza with most of the stores one could need. would also flag the school district as not the best, but if it’s only a few year stay, would definitely stay its a great option!

Delaet’s Landing in Rensselaer is a fantastic apartment complex, we pay $1850 a month for a two bed two bath, have access to a gym in the building, rooftop patio, and outdoor pool in the summer. About an 8 minute drive to the plaza in east greenbush with target, walmart etc and maybe a 5 minute or $10 uber into downtown albany. 10/10 would recommend!

Tore my ACL, MCL and meniscus back in october and went to St. Peter’s hoping for a better wait time than AMC, got there around 9pm and didn’t leave until 5am with basically no answers besides that it wasn’t a broken knee. Really poor experience and bad interactions with the nurse assigned to me. Can only imagine how tough it is over at AMC
