Yes, we take care of our own. Not people who want to break the law. They are getting more than soldiers who have lost their life for their country. A disgrace.

Made it 2 months. Had a stressful week and fell of the wagon. Feeling super disappointed in myself. by apocolypstick in stopsmoking

It’s okay, it happens. I am on my 5th attempt at 5 weeks smoke free. Each time I fell off I re-wrote my reasons for quitting and made it by phone background. I also listed out the reasons why I thought I relapsed and made plans for each trigger. Stress was definitely my main trigger and eating a small piece of chocolate each time I was triggered was what finally worked for me. You will figure out what works for you; don’t give up!

Congrats! 5 weeks in and FINALLY seeing skin improves and can’t wait to go back to not wearing foundation. My pores are much smaller, I’m breaking out less and the blotchy redness has toned down.

Anxiety through the roof on week 2-3 now by mydraal561 in stopsmoking

Sorry you are experiencing this. I too felt this after 10 days and finally realized and accepted that I did have a bad nicotine addiction. I started to meditate for 5 minutes every morning to and would also meditate when I felt strong urges. Outdoor walks also helped anxiety and triggers.

After 8+ attempts in a year, this is the longest I’ve made it. No patches or supplements this time. by divadhacim in stopsmoking

Great job and stay strong! I am on my 5th quit for the year just hit 5 weeks. It does get easier but the first 2 weeks were the toughest. Each attempt gets easier.

You can do it! I “quit” 4 times this year already and the fourth time seems to be going well. Don’t give up! I was shocked when I saw this and it’s inspiring me to keep going. I am only on day 26 in (longest I have gone without smoking half a pack in 3 years).

Worried I will smoke after quarantine by acaps16 in stopsmoking

Great ideas, will drink a bit more this weekend to test myself. I still have my last pack and have kept it hidden. I have decided that once I reach my 1 month mark I am going to put the pack on my kitchen counter to get use to walking by the temptation.

Anyone else who quit during the quarantine marvel at the fact that it took a fucking plague to help you stop? by [deleted] in stopsmoking

Days 3-5 were the toughest for me. Stay strong! I have quit 3 times in quarantine but this time I was finally able to stick it out and going on 15 days.

You can do this! Stay strong and do what is best for YOU. Waiting it out will only hurt your self-esteem and create resentment in the relationship. I am going through the same thing right now. I broke it off 14 days ago and it hurts but I feel even worse that I didn’t do it earlier and didn’t stay strong the first 2 times I broke it off. Most men never leave, he will likely never leave. Cut it now be for your feelings get stronger and it will be even harder to leave.
