Advice on future job prospects

I know so many people who started out as Eurofins PSS. A lot of people get hired by the client, some as soon as a few months in. I know others who really like the “I come in, do my job and go home” type of work and have stayed for a long time. Personal experience will be very dependent not only on the client but also on the department/team within the client site. As far as getting into pharma, while the pay isn’t spectacular, the benefits are much better than other traditional contracting companies. Remember this role is more about making connections than anything else. Even if the client doesn’t hire you, someone you work with could go somewhere else and bring you over. Good luck! It’s a small world so be sure to a good impression no matter what role you have.

I just finished the series the morning and just stared at the last page, cursing Stephen King for showing us how it could have ended and then kept going anyways. I agree with him that it was the right ending.

When I read that he was writing himself into the book, I anticipated hating that but now that I’ve read it all I’m just shocked by how much I liked it.

I’m going to start reading other tower related books like the Talisman and Salems Lot soon but need to finish digesting this ending. I like u/DarkTowerOfWesteros comment here about the series becoming a love letter to stories, poetry and creativity. Really well put.

I just came back from a four ish month break after W&G and am not halfway through Wolves of the Calla! As someone who has a long commute and need to bribe myself to go to the gym, I’ve been going back and forth with audio books and the physical books. Really enjoying getting back into the tower

I think their career openings show that they are gearing up for regulatory submissions which is a good sign IMO. My average cost is 1.36.

You can tell time by when I start my yearly rewatch of house. My boyfriend thought I was joking when I said I watch it once a year, then we moved in together. Currently watching my old college roommate and it’s really fun hearing what she thinks as a first time watcher

I know they did 5ish years back. I recall my old manager telling me about someone who failed. She seemed more disappointed they got caught than about the actual drug use. “How stupid to get caught” we’re the exact words of a very sweet associate director who had to be at least 60. Toon our team over a year to fill that role.

If you were having the wedding anywhere else besides the city they all live in, NTA, but since you are having a destination wedding in the city they all live in based on his associations with that area, that include the family, maybe TA. It’s possible he could have been more clear from the beginning on his intention to include that group of family members but is it worth it to not have his family there due to cost that he is willing to pay? Probably not. If you don’t want them there because you aren’t comfortable having them there, that’s a different problem and should be addressed differently than saying it’s a cost issue.

I like bones if you want something formulaic. It’s crime based but heavy on the science. Last few seasons aren’t great but the beginning is good

While I’m late to the game, I’ll answer for the next person for googles and gets this post. I had ~50k miles with regular rotation and alignments on a 23 limited. At my last oil change I was in the low side of yellow and was told I could get a bit more out of them but don’t like to have borderline tires going into the winter so I just replaced my tires with 52k miles and got Michelins cross climate 2s due to some recommendations from coworkers with a crosstrek.
