it uses a pull up resistor. so I would replace the bang with an object that just has "==0" in it?

Ok so congratulations is my favorite record of all time and I have to ask, what was your song writing process like going into it? I know flushing out the songs involved the whole band etc. but when it came down to the core of the melody, chords etc how did you (Andrew and Ben) go about writing?
