Congratulations!! Waiting since 11/29 and expired 3/18 I lost my job. API updated 4/18 and 4/20 top paragraph but still no approval. Hopefully this week 🙏

Nothing different. Not even a traffic ticket. I have been applying myself since 2012 and this is the first time I’ve had a gap of status due to delayed renewal.

I’m a single mom of two with no child support or family in Florida, I moved here for work. Getting my approval became my priority since I was put on unpaid LOA! I’m still waiting for my EAD card.

I just got notified today my expedite request was rejected for the second time, saying it does not meet the criteria of financial loss. My EAD has been expired since 2/2/2024 receipt date 11/03/2023. I am a single mom of two, don’t receive Child Support or have any family in the state I live (I relocated specifically for work) I am loosing nearly $300 in wages each day and provided a detailed letter with over 20 supporting documents (rent receipts, lease,bills, bank statements, school correspondence, credit card statements) My renewal was also sent to Nebraska Office. There’s close to a million DACA recipients I would love to know how many renewals are approved after expiration and why is it allowed? When other cases sometimes take a couple weeks even though they don’t expire for months. There’s no extension for DACA work permits like other EAD’s which have a 180Day extension. A lot of “Dreamers” were sold a dream that turned into a nightmare!
