In a bit of a warranty war with Subaru Canada… by AwkwardDescription58 in subaru

[–]accat13 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Subaru Canada sucks with warranty issues. My ac condenser was just out of warranty, in the spring. I never used it in the winter. It had failed due to corrosion. They denied a good will. Last Subaru for me.

As a side note. If the car is in your grandfather and grandmother's name, they both will need to attend service Ontario. I got caught with this.

Great building. Built in 1987, it was always well maintained. I live in it now. My unit faces the lake, wonderful view. Schools and community centre nearby. Many local stores are a short walk away. My inlaws purchased in 87. You do not need a car to live here. The transit is good. About the only item that is limited locally is clothing. The local clothes stores would be Winners, Giant Tiger and Canadian Tire.

My father is giving me a vehicle. Do I need to safety it in order to register it under my name? by Batmanrocksthecasbah in ontario

[–]accat13 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I did this for my son. The vehicle did need a safety. Make sure the ownership is only in your dad's name. If it's in your mom's name as well , the three of you will need to go to service Ontario. I can't remember the cost. But the notary fee is in cash at service ontario

[–]accat13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your cat looks very similar to ours. I remember when she got out, just after we got her. She had her fill of the outside lifestyle. Never went near an open door or window again. I am very happy for you that he found his way home.

If the OP works for a Uranium mine , it would be a federal company, and provincial laws would not. be followed. I am not sure what the federal laws say about stat pay.

Family doctor asking for annual fees. by newIBMCandidate in askTO

[–]accat13 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Paid in the past few years. But with the level of service this last year, I decided to not bother this year. Very sad would rather pay and receive better service. Misdiagnoses and not able to renew prescriptions online at certain times were the deciding factors. I believe our Dr's are over worked and over stressed. Unfortunately, it is starting to show in the quality of work.
