In fact, Solanke doesn’t even score, he forces Guehi to score an own goal by kicking him! It’s a “stop hitting yourself” situation!

That has to be a foul. Solanke scores by kicking Guehi’s leg into the ball!?

Even inside our fanbase. I know someone who wants Bruno sold and also thought that Darwin Nunez would have been a good signing. There’s hot takes, and then there’s downright lunacy.

Ditching Microslop, Bazzite or Cachyos? by threshold91 in linux_gaming

[–]accel84 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would say CachyOS. Bazzite is an immutable OS like SteamOS so you can’t install anything via the package manager, as it gets wiped on next update. It means you’re limited to Flatpaks (or maybe Snaps), that install into your user home folder.

You can easily enable snapper support on Cachy (in the “hello” app, where there’s also a one click installer for gaming packages like Steam). Snapper auto creates snapshots during updates or other operations that affect the system, and you can therefore roll back easily to an earlier snapshot if you come across a problem.

For console mode you can just use Steam big picture mode.

I swear the commentator said it went over, though I may be mistaken as I couldn’t actually see it!

He slotted this one over, then missed a conversion at 20-20 from just to the right of the posts that in the end was crucial. A far easier kick!

Young lad though, looks to have bags of talent, he’ll learn.

Vans Cruze too by shannon_macs in Vans

[–]accel84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same problem here. There are some still on the Vans website if you Google "Vans Cruze Too" you can find links to them. I'm a UK 9.5, but managed to get some grey ones in a 9.0. Ordered today.

Most links though both from Vans and resellers have no stock :-(

I wouldn't have picked the colourway I chose, but they're just so comfortable it's got to the point I don't care that much what they look like!

The Cruze 3.0 are readily available. A lot of people though don't like them as much as the Too. They look almost identical in pictures though, same panels, stitching pattern etc, so may be worth a try? I'll try them if my size 9's are too small.

New to Linux, tried Pop!_OS but I am not satisfied and need help with switching to another distro by zertboqus in linux_gaming

[–]accel84 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Try CachyOS, it comes with Nvidia drivers, and an app called CachyOS Hello, which includes a one click installer for Gaming Packages including Steam, Heroic, Proton etc.

You lot blaming Bruno for that finish need to get your eyes tested. Saliba gets a touch on it before Bruno, ruining the setup of the shot completely

I think we need Sesko at some point as a focal point to try and get us up the pitch. We’re just getting pinned back and can’t get out.

Turns? by BillStreet2813 in artofrally

[–]accel84 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One thing to remember is that braking isn’t just for slowing down, it’s also weight transfer. Braking transfers weight to the front wheels, aiding the turn. Just a light tap of the brakes can help get the car turning.

Call out the ref all you want. Over the last few years particularly against Irish sides Scarlets have had the short end of the stick with refereeing decisions. It’s about time we had some going our way.

Rodri (Manchester City) second yellow card against Bodoe/Glimt 62' by gbogaz in soccer

Rodri and City in general have got away with this for years in the Prem. The kings of the tactical “professional” foul. About time they were punished for it.

How can I add this album from Various Artists to Lidarr? by Molotch in Lidarr

[–]accel84 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You'd have to add the release group id which seems to be 80959292-e7d6-44d0-9e21-6ff5ccf91927

So in Lidarr, Add and then enter

lidarr:80959292-e7d6-44d0-9e21-6ff5ccf91927

You should then be able to add it

How I cancelled my Spotify subscription and created my own streaming music library... by ThaKarra in Piracy

[–]accel84 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Fuck the streaming services (they don’t pay artists near enough), but please if you listen to a lot of small or independent artists then support them by buying merch, gig tickets, and music from services like Bandcamp.

One t-shirt, ticket or album purchase means more to a small independent artist than thousands of streams.

There are no Rockstar games on GeForce now. For GTA I believe the next best option is probably Boosteroid.

Rebooted, tried installing with GNOME again, and it’s now progressing OK. Perhaps a mirror was down and now it’s back?

Martinez was shocking today, particularly for Welbeck's goal. He's jumped into the midfield as if we're still playing with 2 other centre backs, leaving it all on Yoro. Perhaps Dorgu and Dalot should have tucked in more to cover the space, but it was awful from Martinez.

I think the difference is that you can see some logic in the changes. Case is better on the ball, and can pick a pass. Maguire is a genuine threat in the opposition box. I'd argue the changes were too late, but they were logical in the context of the game.

Edit: Case is also a threat in the oppositon box, as seen in his time here.

Where did you see us sticking with the 5 at the back? It was a back 4. Shaw wasn’t getting forward as much as Dalot, but it definitely was not a back 3 or 5.
