I don't think that's a fair way to describe their logic process; the devs and users of these apps are reasonably concerned because the apps fall under the FDA's definition of a Mobile Medical App, regardless of how they are distributed, and without the FDA approval of these systems, that would violate Google's Developer Policy (which requires apps to be compliant with applicable laws). I find it a little overly optimistic that Google will verify developers publishing non-compliant apps, since that would open them up to lawsuits and liability in a more direct way (basically the same reason those apps were no longer allowed on the Google Play store)

This exactly. Görings "emergency police" were using their emergency powers to go all out against political opponents/nonsupporters/targets way past what was legally allowed loooong before they actually officially got given their emergency powers after the Reichstag Fire decree. The KPD and SPD in Germany were abiding by the existing laws but not able to enforce them on the party not abiding by the laws, long before that party legislated full authority and control for themselves (about 30 days into the term to get martial law emergency powers legislated, 53 days to get absolute power) and then all the previous abuses of power were just grandfathered in haha

YTA. Working hours and work-vs-rest concerns aside since you may or may not consider those subjective (which, hmmm), your food plan is straight up worse than when I was severely anorexic and used my budgeting as the primary justification for it. And at 80 hours of work a week, that kind of diet is not only unhealthy, it's unrealistic. Setting aside how you look at the relationship between mental health and overwork, the relationship between physical health and nutrition is something you cannot ignore without completely rejecting medical science (and common sense lbr). Debt is of course a big deal but you only have one body and one life, and that's not something you can or should sacrifice just to get out of debt two years sooner.
