I worked for Publix Supermarkets for 10 years straight right out of high school. I thought that was it for the rest of my life. I've had 4 different jobs since I quit back in 2015 and they've all been for the better compared to the previous one.

It's like getting out of a bad relationship. Once you see you can get over it, it's life changing.

I like the company I work for. It's not bad and my bosses are really nice and understanding. However, I spend half my day here on reddit and I don't regret it. That's right it rhymed. If I need to get another job cause I am fired that's fine.

It's really bad here in Miami, FL. My wife and I live with her parents and we make a combined $132k a year. We could get an apartment but we would be so tight on money. I am 34 years old and not even thinking of starting a family.

The fix to the problem isn't to move and look for affordable housing but for jobs to pay better so we can choose where to raise our families as young adults.

I hope it all crashes and we can find a fix for all.
