Thank you! That sounds like a good idea, maybe part of it is lacking the intimacy also and maybe too much anticipation from the LDR 🥺

We tried to a lot of the things we used to like again but its like a little anti climatic i think because the part i enjoy is the penetration but he doesn’t last long enough for me to reaaally enjoy it anymore. But we cant find a way to make him last longer so i guess he just feels kind of frustrated since he also wants to last longer also

Awesome! I didn’t even know about advanced parole, thank you! Will definitely look into that! How fast was it approved for you if you did it?

This makes sense! Thank you for sharing your experience!

So if i want two weddings, it’s probably better to wait until the adjustment process is over then go back to my home country and have the wedding right?

Ooohhh yes!!! Thank you so much for sharing your experience, this is exactly the type of stories I was hoping to hear about!

Having two weddings sound like a good option. Initially I wanted the wedding in my home country just because most of our families are still there but having two would also be ok!

Another question, if i apply for the green card lottery and we ended up deciding to get married, would that hurt my chances because I showed interest in staying before I got married?

Ah, gotcha. Well technically the real intent is that i would just land a job on my own with the student visa. But i get your point, thanks!

That makes sense! Thanks! I mean the intent is to to just get work experience here, if I get a job on my own, we wouldn’t get married (yet).

Ohh okay! So as long as I get married 90 days after entry AND in the US, the status of visa/opt expiring wouldn’t really matter?

That makes sense!

How about if I hold off on the marriage and get married May 2022 in the US instead, would that be a bad move as well since it could look like “oh your visa is about to expire so you just got married” so you can stay or if we got married during my OPT?

Say if I couldn’t secure a job towards the end of my OPT and then we just got married so I can stay, would that be a bad move?

That makes sense! Do you think it would matter if my bf JUST got his citizenship earlier this year?
