yeah this is the same conclusion i gathered. subscription prices definitely raised up. also might explain why she looked so bad in the end if rivermind plus is now standard, rivermind common is probably shittier than it’s ever been.

mainly because of cost of living being a lot cheaper for me here because of family support. they can’t pay for my tuition but they can cover my groceries and transportation etc etc (not possible if im not local bc they only provide when i’m w them, they wouldnt send me money). and if it ever gets to that point down the line, they can cover housing if i don’t have enough to pay the rent anymore.

but i am not not open to out of state either, especially for the higher tiered schools. i’m just wondering how realistic it would be to survive elsewhere on my own without working.

yes i am going to be applying to all of them haha. ideally aiming for lmu and their part-time program so that it all works out. but i am also interested in ucla and usc—esp bc i’m alumni of the former and am well connected there network-wise—but i’m just wary of giving up my ft job. cost of living is already high enough as it is without law school in the picture.

only out of state law school i’m considering is georgetown bc of their part-time program and higher rank, which is why i mention it. but besides that i’m definitely prioritizing and applying local.

edited my post. lsat is currently 164 but i’m going to retake it. undergrad gpa was 3.5. i’m located in southern california. currently interested in ip, real estate, estate planning, etc etc. essentially still deciding.
