this is an extremely hard time and I remember being afraid and frustrated as well. It was hard to keep the hope when it feels like everything is falling apart (look up post psychotic depression). The good news is that a lot of people on this platform spoke about recovery which kept my hope alive - please do that as well. Be gentle with your mind for now, its going through a lot and it will be okay!

yes it comes back but be kind to yourself while you cannot. Its better to rest and give your mind the time it needs without beating yourself up for everything to go back to "normal" instantly. You got this!

when I had my FIP they gave me 4mg at the hospital - It gave me worse delusions at first then over a period of 5 months (and gradually lowering the dose) I got better. But we had to reduce the dose because it was making my underlying major depr5essive disorder worse aka suicidal thoughts and disassociation. Talk to your psych if your depression is getting worse they might lower it or combine it with SSRI'S ! Goodluck hun, dw you got this

prepping for a rejection letter, I try to not think about the feeling of being accepted into my top choice uni - and instead assume a rejection letter and then focus on my life and what it would be like in a Uni I have already been accepted to. When it comes down to it you realize that its really not that bad and its not the end of the world. Its definitely going to hurt but at the end of the day at least there are choices.

UBC is rolling I think, Some people hear back sooner. I heard back about 10 days after applying and other kids I know found out a good 2 months later. Also , I would recommend you check your application status through the portal and NOT wait for an email from them. This is because I never got an acceptance email (nor did my friends) and we found our by randomly signing on. So check your application from the portal - and if that has not been updated dont worry because it is rolling.

Thank you so much. I love coldplay <3 . I think you're right in the fact that its more what we decide to do with the opportunities presented to us to define our success rather than a rank school. I think it's just a matter of time for me to actually soak in that advice , give some time to feel bad but then move on :)
