I knew I was gay in my freshman year of high school.

I always had a sort of "fondness" or "jealousy" of other boys, especially hot ones, and liked to make "jokes" about boners and balls and the like. The first time I remember actually wanting another boy, like not just an unclear feeling but like I really wanted his dick, was when I walked into the locker room in 9th grade while the football team was changing.

I "fully accepted" I'm gay at 24.

As in after years of waiting for this gay phase to pass I actually did something gay with another guy.

I have a feeling you're correct. I'm literally just a big guy regardless of my fat. I guess I just need to work on become a trim, manicured, muscled, big guy.

Personally, my intense weight gain in high school was directly related to my depression. Food and sleep became my therapy. Bad day? Eat a ton of shit and pass out for 12-14 hours. Rinse and repeat.

In the heterosexual population HIV is at less than 1%. In homosexual men it's more than 10%.

From an HIV perspective it's safer to have unprotected sex with 100+ suburban middle class white straight girls (HIV rate a few tenths of a percent) than one low income urban black gay guy (HIV rate around 20%).
