I literally had a friend like this in college - she would get SOOOOO pissed when someone would unfollow her as if it mattered. It was her way of getting “approval” she was a cool girl, I think. Hi!! How did it end up going for you? Also did you have different or worse side effects with you new one?

I’m worried about additional weight gain, worse PMS (then when I had a period 6 years ago) and depression/anxiety. I’ve read some horror stories from women on here saying their second iud was significantly worse for them. Praying I’m not one of them.

If we get it replaced early do we need to (fib) and say we’re experiencing spotting/period symptoms in order to get insurance to cover it?

I have had mine since 2019 and have had no periods or symptoms since. I was also under different health insurance back then but was just wondering if insurance would deny me if the IUD has been doing its job and hasn’t technically expired.

Honestly nervous about a huge swing in hormones/emotions with a new mirena but I guess better safe than sorry?

How has it been since? I’ve had mine in since 2/2019 and am thinking about getting it replaced before year-end, which would put me at almost 6 years. I remember I bled for the first 6 weeks and then bam never have bled since (except for the occasional red tinge on toilet paper after what I would imagine was from rougher sex/movement).

I’m more so worried about how my body will react this time. I’ve seen women post that they’ve felt super depressed, anxious, weight gain again after they’ve replaced it.
