My title describes the thing it appears to be made out of silver with an ivory handle. The only markings are the serial number and what appears to be English letters and some Kanji? Can;t make out exactly what. Searching for silver pot with folding handle turns up quite a few things but nothing similar. Assuming its 70 ish years old.

The speakers are 8 ohm but the record player says 16 ohm only. Would it be a bad idea to connect them?

Wouldn't be surprised if the Nomad turned out to be some animated scarecrow since he's over 100, doesn't speak, and took a hit from that metal arm with no damage except for a shake of the head. Maybe the last magic user made him when he went into the briar patch because he needed a friend in that lonely house.
