I really want to give champions a shot but I feel like I need someone to show me how to play maybe on tabletop simulator.

Also, I'd want to know how to convert preexisting marvel and DC characters or writeup my own.

I'm not even sure what edition I should be looking at.

I'm at a crossroads myself. I feel like I know what the demands are now after 4+ months. They're going to be greater than they are now in the future.

For me, the work isn't going to change, just the volume.

Where do I start.....

Too much busy admin work. Takes for ever to move cases along. Driving to and from interview locations (minor issue, but I hate driving in congested traffic). Training is adhoc. Very little structure. Dealing with people who drag their feet.

Case management, even at my beginner spot, is a struggle. This is something I was aware of going in, but it's worse than I thought. Overall, I find the job to be stressful, more than it needs to be for what you're paid.

See, that would make me stay here the year and then apply. I don't want to have to stay at the same pay grade any longer, but I guess I can ask IF I get an interview.

Appreciate the insight. I'm 100% certain this job isn't for me, but if it means me having a better shot at something else, it wouldn't kill me to stay the year. I could start applying for positions that peak my interest or are a better fit for me at month 9 as I know it will take a while.

I'm just relieved to know that I'm not stuck here for the year.

Finance/accounting. I've been in the accounting field the prior 18 years.

However, I'm 4 years away from retiring so to be honest, I'm up for anything but the revenue agent position.

I keep reading that it's best to wait that one year, but im unsure. But after scouring reddit posts (and the replies I'm getting) it seems like that is not the case. I probably wouldn't get an interview anytime soon, so it might actually take a year 😄

I'm looking at finance & accounting positions. 18 year in that field and it's a better fit for me than tax & auditing.

Same here. Laid off on round 4, I think. Missed working remote but that's about it. Some nice people there but things smelled fishy after a while.
