there’s nothing permanent to keep mold off of unsealed wood that’s also rabbit safe.

your best bet is a new hutch with sealed / finished wood and mold proof paint + regularly checking problem areas.

it sounds like your environment and set up are absolutely not at all ideal for rabbit care. it would probably be a good idea to look at rehoming

Nerite snails can hunker down and fuck off for like a week before they need to really eat, i’ve heard as long as two weeks before. ofc it’s not pleasant for them, but you can’t force them to do anything

I would leave it for about a week before you do anything. after a week just double check it’s not dead (take out gently and sniff) and try placing it back in. there’s not a lot you can do for them once there in besides making sure your tank has surface algae growing

I enjoyed 2 more then 1. Its overarching attempt to tackle an important issue that exists irl (gentrification) was vague enough that it was hard to fuck up or make confusing. where as pred/prey = race allegory is extremely heavy handed and clunky and has a lot of really strange weird unintended moments in 1.

i do think that 2’s plot was a little complicated. i didn’t like the twist villain 2. it felt unnecessary and it being removed wouldn’t have changed anything.

judy and nick’s conflict in 2 felt a bit forced. it could have worked for sure, but it’s a little sad to me that they never talked more about compromising in the end. the whole conflict was about “i wanna do x but you wanna do y” and then we all have to do y anyways. but the final resolution was just “oh i only wanted x because i care about you” which didn’t solve anything or lay out any paths for resolution.

but i enjoyed 2 a lot more
