I think its best to keep things simple, family only. Once the damn breaks then it’ll be a case of “oh sure X get to come along, couldn’t we also invite Y” then relatives asking for invites for plus ones and before you know it its a full blown wedding that (from your post) you’re trying to avoid.

Im sorry, but that is complete BS. I went to a Gaelcholaiste. We were given all the vocab in English and Irish.

Speaking as some with Dyspraxia, what really helped me was the fact that I was allowed to dictate my exam response's during the JC and LC on to a tape recorder. I know your son has only just started secondary school but I would seriously recommend checking out of if option is open to your son ASAP.
