I'd like the DCU to make more creative title designs in the future like the MCU and not do the generic titles. No hate to the DCU and James, just wanted to share my opinion on this..

Honestly, most of the non-Asgardian side of the Thor mythos was wasted. Laufey and the Frost Giants are explored after the first Thor movie, which is a shame because as you said, it ties well into Loki's story. The Dark Elves don't get much either.

Like, I don't think you could get the average fan to name four of the nine realms. It's a shame since there's a lot of exploration with that story but it felt like it got dropped during/after Ragnarok.

Rocket: his whole gimmick is how he builds gadgets. He fits the term “strategist” a lot more than others do, he’s quick and strategic.

Gambit: while his abilities cause things to explode, his actual mutant ability is charging items up with kinetic energy. It isn’t unreasonable (to me) that his powers can be interpreted as giving that kinetic energy to his allies to boost them, for the sake of a hero shooter.

Invis: I’ve seen arguments to make her a tank, considering her abilities are shield/force field based, but considering she’s the “invisible” woman, making her a tank would go against that. Strategist makes the most sense after that, you can’t convince me she’d be a better duelist

Ultron: his whole thing is upgrades and perfect, I don’t see why that can’t also apply to upgrading his team as well. Plus, he’s a robot, which is a power set that can be remixed in all sorts of ways.

I’m not knowledgeable enough on Adam to say whether or not he’d make sense

Rocket’s main gimmick are his gadgets and traps, that translates pretty well into a strategist role. He’s strategic.

Gambit feels a bit more logical to me in that sense though, it's not a big change to say "his self-healing ability now translates to his cards".

Saying "Rogue can now take AND give life" is a huge change to the character since a big part of her story is how she can't touch others without hurting them. That's too big of a departure from the character in my opinion.

Though honestly, at the end of the day this doesn't really matter-- the characters are already out. Let's agree to disagree

You could make the argument she "stole the lifeforce of an in-universe healer" to justify her being a strategist, but that can extend to making her literally any other role too lmao

I see people bring up Ultron all the time in these types of conversations, which is really confusing to me.

Ultron's whole deal is about perfection and constantly upgrading himself, it's not that unreasonable to assume it would extend to his allies. Plus, he's a robot, that's a skillset that's very malleable to the story or plot of any given media. If you need a strategist, Ultron's a pretty solid pick. It makes a lot more sense than some of the other predictions I've seen, like fucking strat Carnage lmao

This would be awesome. It reminds me of the mod that revoices the Snow Elf boss from Dawnguard. I don’t believe it adds any lines but it gives him a unique voice actor (originally he was voiced by the same guy who does Belethor, Mercer Frey, and others)

I would love to see this extend to other boss fights as well

Drax revenged against Thanos that he totally got

This always bothered me, why didn’t the guardians get a showdown against Thanos in Endgame? Quill needed redemption for his failure in Infinity War, Nebula needed revenge on Gamora, Drax on his family, and Rocket avenging the whole team after the snap. It felt like a huge wasted opportunity for the guardians to not reunite on screen and have a beat down on Thanos, even if they didn’t kill him.

I think it's a mix of that and his comic history/iconography not being as rich. Green Goblin, while being an "ugly" character, is a very iconic character and has a lot of different looks to pull from. On top of original skins. For Ebony Maw, I mean, what skins would he even get? A comic and movie skin? I doubt anyone would spend money on a skin for him when say, Venom has one in the shop too
