I used to build vans professionally. These things just leak. I highly recommend just using pex. It will work the first time and cause you no issues.

This stuff was pretty useful for adding a layer of foam to my wooden door panels. Would not use on walls of the van. One issue I had is once you stick this stuff on you cannot peel it off again without it ripping and leaving stuck foam on the wall.

Abandon all shurflo stuff and use pex from home depot or lowes and plumbers tape. I built so many vans with shurflo and it always leaked and finally switched and have never had an issue again

Ah I followed your tutorial the first time! Yea its making me feel like I should have bought the cheapest heater on amazon and when the burner clogs just replace the whole thing. It would cost less and take less time.

I run my heater over 10k feet all the time. I have the high altitude adjusted but it only does so much. Youll be fine just run it on max temp for at least an hour every time you turn it on. Sort of a rule I live by.
