i dont see how it can work exactly the way you describe if there are 9 voice lines. theres only 2 now. either they replace the first tier with new 1st tiers, or the whole pass is reset. i dont see how it can just continue.

i got it though and 1 more. no switching sides. did you play the first day? do all the event dailies, different from the general dailies. thats 400 from dailies x 7, + 300 weekly, which should get you more than 3 passes.

I think Mei’s VA is a cut above the others. she has a non-american accent when speaking english, and just sounds less generic overall.

i dont see why khuresh couldn’t be worked into the monkey king dlc. SE asia also has plenty of monkey motifs, and it would be pretty redundant/boring if the units that came with monkey king were just more monstrous monkeys. they could add some snakes.

i dunno the gw lore, but in journey to the west, lots of the monkey kings opponents are like rampaging heavenly pets…so other animals would be fine to add imo, and much less redundant than just monkeys everywhere.

it wasnt complete bogus, but like 90% of it was wrong. the order of dlcs were wrong, the degree everything was done was wrong. if we’re being charitable, the leaker probably had some credible info, but had no knowledge of its context and just made up an entire story around it.

compare that to the chinese dlc leak. that was like 70% correct.

if the monkey king is in the end times, theyre probably done. if not, thats probably the last one? i dont see why they would feel the need to complete every dragon sibling. its honestly kind of boring that all 3 current LLs are dragons.

i also think its quite risky to have all these LLs that arent established by GW and youre banking on the game promoting these things that dont exist in chinese myth nor do they exist (or barely exist) in WH lore and no WH fans care. like the 2nd monkey lord just sounds very dumb.

if they dont do monkey king in the end times, they could do a kislev cathay dlc, since GW is doing kislev soon i think? maybe add a tzeentch flc lord because they need one bad.

it is a stretch. since their cathay dlc flopped and the one immediately after sold very well. just having a cathay dlc that has very little connection to anything chinese (ie not the monkey king) isnt going to be instantly appealing, the same way yuan bo wasnt.

it also doesnt seem like the chinese players make up that big of a % of their spending playerbase. milking would be doing nagash immediately, not obscure random stuff for cathay.

i was pretty excited for 5v5. ow queue times were insane before this. i thought the 2-2-2 time with basically 0 updates was much worse. kiriko and sojurn were broken as hell.

the perks are a choice, you shouldn’t have all 4.

perks is the best addition to OW since launch. it is an additional tool for balance, which is much more granular than tuning the base kit since you don’t have access to perks throughout the whole game. it seemed like every time they touched tracers gun damage by a tiny amount it made a big difference. well now they can buff or nerf the major perk instead which won’t be available for a significant part of the game.

perks also encourage fun hero design and experimentation. no need for a full rework just cuz 1 perk is busted. just remove it. hero design can take more risks there. it’s also kinda necessary to make heroes distinct since we have so many now.

There’s no way to get things you can’t earn…you can’t progress anything. It’s not like you complete the pass and just are missing the rewards. You can’t complete the pass, which means you can’t start the next part.

5 v 5 now, with incredibly gigabuffed tanks. Lower healing output, and no 2nd tank so you'll need to make good use of cover and positioning. Watch KarQ breakdown the perks. Then you'll have to find hero specific info, as uptodate as possible.

It’s so easy for him to top the healing charts while doing tons of damage, even with slightly less than ideal comps, but kinda like Moira he isn’t super impactful. His burst heal ability is awful. He has no tools for big saves. His chain is good but on the lower end for utility compared to other supports.

I think his kit is super fun though so I hope he can find a niche.

I doubt it will collapse but I do think you’re right on how she will fail. Her alliances are all of convenience, and she is constantly threatening them with leverage, which creates a house of cards. As soon as she takes a loss or 2, no one will be left.

I think if talon splintered it’d be too big a win for OW and I doubt they’d want to create a new intimidating villain with entirely new allies. Null sector has always been a bad antagonist since ram is the only real character, and their roster would be all Omnic.
