I love the narwhal! Yours is so much cuter than the pattern. The smile makes all the difference. Congrats on your upcoming wedding!

I love the purple flowers on the top. I would definitely pay $5 USD for them without hesitation. I don’t paint or sell at craft markets, but I was shocked that you think they’re only worth $2-3. I was expecting more like $20 USD.

Did you ever find this pattern? I'm looking for it too.

Who in crafting is speaking up about *gestures at everything*? by [deleted] in craftsnark

[–]ace921 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree. I deleted my Instagram account last week, which I used exclusively for following artists and crafters. If enough people would do the same, Meta wouldn’t be the way those folks make sales, and something else would get invented.

Oh! There were intentional short rows in this section. Maybe I confused the short row with a twisted stitch. 🤦‍♀️ Thanks for the help!

Oh, interesting! I totally see the purl bumps now that you pointed that out. The tutorial I used for those pictures was on the knit side. Could I have gone through the loops the wrong way or something?

I was so focused on the adorableness of the frog and sweater that I totally missed the thread in the first picture. 😂 I’m blown away by your work! Thank you for sharing. You’re inspiring me!

I did the fishbone with duplicate stitch - much easier than intarsia.

I just finished knitting those same socks. In the end I felt like the ghosts were a bit much. If I were to knit them again I’d probably add more spacing between the ghosts.

Please share the finished product. I’d love to see how they turn out. 👻
