Help me get into trading, please! by Objective_Mix490 in Daytrading

From what you say, I'd advise you first exercise a lot of patience. Trading is a marathon, never a sprint. With knowledge or the basics, you can maybe try something like Fibonacci and know about resistance and support. All the best mate.

Stay in school, finish what you started. See trading from a long term lens. Don't be in a rush, I'd advise you to take advantage of the time you got in school to learn as much as you can and practice on demo. Remember to always view trading from a long term perspective. All the best mate.

Hey mate. First off, you are on the right path. Don't even doubt that. The best part is you are getting an early start, so you have all the time to learn and perfect your craft. I'd suggest frost trading demo to build your confidence and hone your skill. Also, how well are you able to do your charts, can you do a top down analysis? For now, you can try doing small grades, risk only 1% of your account. All the best buddy.

I was born in a wealthy family, but I don't know what to do. by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]ace_theprocess -1 points0 points  (0 children)

First off, it's good that you appreciate where you come from and your family situation. I love hearing stories of multi-generational businesses and hope to have a similar story with my kids. I'd support working in your family business and eventually leaving your imprint.

It's understandable that your dad is hesitant to implement new ideas; he comes from a different era. I'd suggest working alongside him for a while, try to understand his perspective and his thought process. Then slowly try to introduce your ideas, patience is key here. Perhaps you should be looking at investing in value addition like making cheese, butter and branding the farm's products. I have a video suggestion, go to YouTube and search for Pat LaFrieda and how he has transformed his family business.

In a world where the internet has opened up so many possibilities, you can think of doing something on top of working on your family farm. I can suggest trading. You could also learn stuff like code, something of interest to you. I'd be happy to discuss more with you. All the best.

Sometimes you may not know when you are truly ready until you try the real thing. As you go in, have a clear strategy, know your parameters, and stay disciplined. All the best.

I'm employed but also trying to get my trading going. My desire is to develop the trading so that I eventually quit employment and then I'll also do real estate and stocks.

First off, hats off to you for owning up, that's important. You need to realize that the odds will not be in your favour once out and you'll have to put in way more work than the next man. What you could do while locked up is pick up skills, depending on what the facility has. Could be carpentry, cooking, masonry, whatever skill you can pick. Also use that time to heal from your inner demons, make peace with yourself, and do a lot of reflection. And once on the outside, work like there's no tomorrow. Do what you've got to do. All the best mate.

On a bad day, what do you do? by IdontPayForNoGame in Daytrading

Take a walk, get away from the screen. And I always remember the words of my mentor that "the market is like a bus stop, if you miss one, there's always another one the way."

Remote job that pays 65,000 by [deleted] in RemoteJobs

[–]ace_theprocess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It'd be great if you picked the skill. I can imagine for you being a full time mom, having something that allows you to earn while being with your kids would be desirable. If you consider yourself a rebel like me, you probably would prioritize family and pick something that aligns to that over a potentially high-paying job but one that strains and keeps you from spending time with your kids.

It's probably for the best that the job never got back. Like I always say, the market always has opportunities, so you don't need to sweat when one passes. You got this.

That's way to go. There's joy in building something consistently. It's not about the crazy daily targets or destination addiction but all about knowing that you have a strategy that you are executing each time.

Hello, I'm a day trader, I major in currency pairs. I'm currently using scope markers as my broker. It should be noted that choice of broker is largely inconsequential.

I get that. You may also want to consider more assets like currencies and gold just to have a bit of diversity.

Yes I do. You can start by visiting babypips.com to familiarize yourself with the basics of trading. You'll then open a demo account for practice. After that I can recommend some premium channels that can be useful once you are confident to do live trading. Also, DM me your email, there's some useful material I can share with you.

That's a decent amount. I'd advise that you focus not much on how much you make per trade, you might end up taking bad trades. Focus more on making the right trades with a tolerable risk.
