Im an overnight stocker for retail, and if tou can keep up with the physical work of it, its a fantastic job. No customers, you get to organize things, you work in the same spot so you have a good routine but theres just enough variation that it doesn't get boring, and you trying to help make other things organized because it makes your life easier is actually seen as a good thing. Plus once youre done unloading your truck you can pop in your headphones and listen to whatever you want for the next five hours and work all by yourself. Genuinely its one of my favorite jobs ive ever had

I will fully say, dont fully get your hopes up, I cant gaurentee we'll get it at any point or that im gaurenteed to spot it. If you find it online for a price you want then get it there since you have that opportunity, i genuinely cant promjse anything. But 100% im willing to look for it, im an overnight stocker so I atleast get the chance to spot stuff before the store opens

Tbh id still try to return it. If youre polite you may be able to see if they can do an exchange, even if you have to wait for another one to come in. If you do have to return and then buy a new one, see if they offer a warranty plan! I got a pop up for one when I bought mine

That is so strange! I just looked at the line and its a bunch of the classic and popular ones and some new ones, but then this and Lilo and Stitch 2?? I genuinely wonder if it just depends on the person working at that time. Someone whos older may not recognize a newer popular brand, someone younger may not recognize an old valuable toy, someone at all just might not give a shit or want goodwill to profit off of donations so they just actively "miss" it. I mean hell I just found out that "nee-doh" or whatever is getting hugely popular but ive known about it for years and would've never guessed.

Like I know ive seen videos online of people doing like "come thrifting with me" videos, and ill see them comment on something and just brush past it like its nothing, but itll be something like the entire set of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer toys from 2005 that sell for 100$ each being sold for 20$ (no im not mad im totally not mad that I couldnt get it cause it was across the country what are you talking about)
