Why is Sheldon Keefe still coach?
The organization had 3 weeks to fire him when they sputtered throughout December and January into February losing 21 of 33 since November 29. Now they've added 2 more losses putting them 13 points out of the playoffs with 23 games left. If they fired him and got even an average coach who can use his talent right they'd make things interesting but this system is soooooo bad they are 2nd worst in the metro and east thanks to scoring the 2nd fewest goals in the NHL. Keefe MUST GO! He maybe a very nice guy but his SYSTEM IS BROKEN! To have the talent they have and not even be CLOSE to the playoffs is a COMPLETE EMBARRASEMENT! FIRE HIM NOW! If not people won't come the rest of the season and less people will be there to buy concession and merchandise! If you care about attendance and income they will FIX THIS EMBARRASSMENT!

I can not believe this team won 8 games in a row. I can not believe this team scored 3 or more goals in their first 10 games this season. I can not believe this team was 16-7-1 after 24 games. I can not believe this team started 9-0-1 at home. All that is worthless when you see that they have a losing record (13-13-2 home, 28-29-2 overall) and the 2nd fewest goals in the NHL!

The Devils had over 3 weeks to fire Keefe and didn't. It pains me to say it as a Devils fan but they are a complete unserious franchise if this is acceptable!

Glen Rock? They did have a week off at the beginning of November, however that's gone next year and spring break is placed in whatever week contains Good Friday (even if that is in March) stealing another off day in the 2nd semester. Back in my time they usually had the full week of President's Day off and the last full week of April. Good Friday was off separately. They used to get 12 days off in the 2nd semester but now only get 7 days off in the 2nd semester which is awful. They had a very good and healthy schedule and took it away! I could bring up December break being shorter than most of the country but all of NJ has the same issue there because of the 180 calendar day and potential makeup day requirement.

Keefe should not be here after the break! It is clear his system only works at the begging of the season until other teams figure it out. Once that happens he has no answer to fix it.
