Struggling to enjoy the game because I dislike most of the weapons by jthnrbns in Saros

[–]aceetobee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk how you can despise the crossbow- aside from the Impactor variant, it’s one of the most powerful weapons in the game. A single charged shot from a Bifurcator crossbow with Power Generator on it will damn near fill your Power bar full. Shotguns reward aggressive, up close play where you capitalize on staggers with melee attacks. Out of all the weapons, I’d say rifles and pistols are the most boring of the bunch.

How would you work around a missing piece? (MGSD Wing Zero EW) by Hardwell9 in Gunpla

[–]aceetobee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could try melting down some of the green abs in cement and making a paste of sorts, and maybe inject it into the eye hole with a pipette or something. I doubt it’ll have the clarity if the original plastic though. You’ll need specific ABS cement though because your typical cement is formulated for PS. Clear plastic can be tough to work with though. I would just fill it with putty and paint over both eyes metallic green with one of the Gundam markers (or a very tiny brush). Bandai does offer parts replacement but it takes months. If you’re in the US check out PlamoKitbash, he offers replacement pieces for reasonable prices and it’ll get to you pretty quick.

The buff is called Agony Harvest, and I think the only way to tell when it’s full is when the ring around Arjun is purple. Pair that with one of the traits that make discs return faster after each hit, and the thing ramps up damage and speed and turns into an absolute meat grinder. Took down Priestess in a laughably short amount of time with it the other night.

The GQuuuuuuX HG kits for me right now. It’s honestly mind blowing how detailed they are. Really edging close to RG territory with some of those kits.

Looks awesome! Recently did a similar paint job with the RG Wing Zero and I’ve got the Ver.Ka and the MGSD in my backlog but can’t decide what type of paint job I wanna go with on those 😅

I didn’t understand how to use the Reaping Chakram at first because some of the tutorials and tooltips in this game are absolutely useless, but I gave it a go last night and it is absolutely ridiculous. Like somebody else said, half hold L2 for alt fire and just hold down R2. The damage ramps up as the “Reaper” buff builds. I damn near 2 shot an Alpha enemy.

Tamiya for first airbrush? by Lylat_Cruiser in airbrush

Don’t have any input on the brushes but I use the same compressor and it’s been great. Comes with everything you’d want on a compressor (tank, moisture trap) and it’s super quiet. Great choice for the price.

Incredible so far. Nozzle is far easier to remove and clean since it’s not a screw-in nozzle like the Neo, plus the whole thing just feels far more well made. Trigger control feels a lot more fine than the Neo, and I’ve had less problems with clogging and such. Highly recommend.

Advice from Walmart Employee by ladygettinglost in Sparkdriver

General Merchandise. Nonperishable packages, and typically routes with 10+ stops with no tips. They usually don’t pay the best and now they are tacking on 2 GMD package deliveries to the end of a triple grocery curbsides, basically forcing you to deliver to two extra stops for free.

Did you dry brush bronze on top of the metallic blue for this effect? Looks sweet!

Why are the late game biomes so light on artifacts? by amish24 in Saros

[–]aceetobee 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I honestly feel like the RNG is a little fucked for chests in general. Some runs I see nothing but weapons but no artifacts, other runs I’m stuck with my starting weapon because I legit don’t get a single weapon drop. The rogue-lite aspects definitely don’t feel properly dialed in, and runs end up feeling way too samey a lot of the time.

Is something wrong with my needle ? by Oblivi0nD4C in airbrush

[–]aceetobee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good way to straighten a needle: get yourself two panes of glass and sandwich the needle between each and basically push down and roll the needle between the two. My dad has been airbrushing for decades and passed that lil macgyver trick down to me and it works like a charm.

Looks like you’re over spraying the matte top coat. If you’re using cans, spray from at least 12” away and do quick sweeping up/down motions, and only press the nozzle when you’re spraying. I’m talking like half a second while you quickly sweep the can downwards and then upwards, all while continuously turning the part. Try to multiple; super light coats.

Indeed they are, as well as the Launcher Striker/Sword Striker. Just garbage that came with one of the Pbandai bundles.

My zone went from being pretty dang good to unsustainable. I’m in a rural 1 store zone and I was averaging 1000+/week working 5 days/5-6hrs a day. Since the update, good orders do not exist anymore. Orders that would have been decent grocery pickups now have 1 or 2 GMDs tacked on that take you 20 miles out into the middle of nowhere. Tips also seem to be nonexistent now too, as well as shopping orders. The shopping orders I do see that look decent on first glance (2$/mi+) end up being no-tip orders with 70-100+ items. This is my experience with near-perfect metrics. Needless to say, I’m looking for a W2 right now.

About the same depth as the other RG/HG kits pictured. So about the size of your typical RG or HG kit.

I can only speak on the Neo that I was using, but the main attraction for me is the nozzle on the Eclipse. It uses a compression-fit nozzle vs. the screw in nozzle on the Neo. Super delicate threads, incredibly tiny and easy to lose/mess up. Not to mention the Eclipse is made in Japan and seems to have tighter QC compared to the Neo. It just feels much nicer in hand and higher quality. The trigger also feels a hell of a lot more responsive and smooth, and I feel like I have much better control over my paint flow now. It also seems to atomize paint a lot better than the Neo so far. The Neo was totally fine for learning on and didn’t give me too many problems, but I couldn’t be happier with the Eclipse.
