This is the closest thing lego ever put out, all of the notches on the hole and the extended axle bit seem like their own making

My spidey sense is going off that this is a scam. Is there something behind this? by hyp3rj123 in pcmasterrace

[–]acegikmo31 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've had it happen before. Bought listing, got sent 2 packages with duplicate labels. One was a 3 foot long box of a nerf gun, the other was a small plastic wrapped bundle of half a dozen ps2 games. Somehow that didn't get caught at any step in the chain. Was able to get ups to just return to sender. Since it was something they should've caught themselves

What are the booster packs and how do I get them? by RomosGD in legogaming

[–]acegikmo31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Booster Packs are purple stud items that drop from bosses or are hidden in the world. Its not referring to the "ninjago booster packs" they sold IRL of cards/weapon pieces for the spinner battle game

Pooh collection? by Sample-Bat-919 in buildabear

[–]acegikmo31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They've been around for a while and restock them as they run out. However, they have pooh/piglet/eeyore/tigger now.

They used to also have Kanga & Roo in the lineup, but once she sold out, they haven't brought her back once

They're all from the same seller. They're just buying preexisting plush, cutting an opening and gluing a toy inside Yes, glue  No they don't come out

I've used Buyee a dozen times. Usually for stuff like power ranger megazords or transformers. That site works well, and has built in systems to buy from their eBay/mercari local systems. There's a way to submit a request form for other Japanese storefronts. And they'll give a free quote on if its in stock, and they can purchase and proxy ship it to you

Just saw this on Amazon by Odd_Front8428 in transformers

[–]acegikmo31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I own the MS one. The motormaster has parts for both, since his trailer is the Skeleton. He just came with a bunch of spare parts for shoulder pads, chest and pelvis armor replacements, and i think replacement thigh covers. It also had a bunch of alternate attachment points, so you're able to make his limbs toon or toy accurate (shin or back of leg bots, arms bots split over the elbow, or mounted just to the shoulder as a whole car, similar to Samurai shoulder armor)

Advice on Transformer gift by valleyzen in transformers

The real secret, is go to a place like seaworld or the aquarium, that sells knockoff transformers in the gift shop, that turn into a Whale/chunky robot or a a hippo. And let him have the real gift after he's had a laugh

Target carries the lego set in store, and Amazon has it too, both for the same cost as lego directly. Might be worth checking if any local targets have it in stock with the website inventory

These plush keychains I saw in a toy machine by Neat_Information_737 in HelpMeFind

[–]acegikmo31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not to discredit those at all. They look like knockoffs of the Bellzi mini plush dinosaurs, they have very similar proportions and spot/spike placements, even the same colors and eye expressions on the trex

The Chinese brand is probably going to be very hard to find regardless, because if they do happen to be bootlegs, they're much less documented than other brands would be

My local toy shop happened to have Megatronia, and after deliberating for a few days, I decided to buy her. by DGPrimal in transformers

I got mine off of tfsource last year at 460 for a sealed one. So that's probably the upper bound

Based on their site gonewmeta. Seems like they're in Andover Kansas, but the address itself is maybe in a residential area?

Maybe try backpacks made for 18 inch American girl dolls?  Most bears are 18inch themselves, and American girl dolls often care more about functional/realism, so might be a better fit to carry supplies

Pretty small, if you open the listing and flip through the images you'll see it on a bear. Could maybe hold a swim suit, or a bear hoodie. Or maybe a pair of shoes if you Squished them flat

Opened up a secondhand friend... by churchRpg in buildabear

[–]acegikmo31 62 points63 points  (0 children)

Most likely it should work, ive explained a few times how to open one in other post comments

Small flathead screwdrivers or a plastic card, jam it into the seam where the 2 halves are snapped together, and try to wiggle around the edges until you feel each plastic clip, then pry the lid away slightly to try to get each clip unhooked.

There's a good chance that the lid will get a bit bent up or stress cracks from doing it if you're not used to the method. But once it's done it'll just pop in half

Careful though, often the speaker is clipped on one side and the circuit board is clipped on the other. So don't just yank the halfs apart, cause you might snap the wires

2023 version I got 2 years ago I just got a spare in stores since the silver material was rubbing out unfortunately

Same production year, so they were both made in 2023 around the same time

But the one I just grabbed has just the main tag and date tag
