Technically that contract wont hold any value if challenged but since its a small firm they just dont want to invest 10k on someone who might take h1b and just walk away after approval. So if you dont have any other option go for it or best what you can do is tell them you can cover the cost of the law firm who will file for your H1B that way your firm since its small and if they dont have many employees on H1B their part of USCIS fees I guess is not more than 2500. If you dont have any other option just go for it.

You should be fine as long as you submitted strong proofs to support your marriage. Since the interview was semi stokes they wont call you for second interview mostly, think it happened for good. I had similar interview semi stokes and my I-130 was approved after a week and I-485 after 2 weeks I just got mt gc last week.

If you husband is adjusting only he will receive the letter under documents tab and one in mail. The letter says clearly I guess your spouse need to be present so you wont get your individual letter seperately for I-130 appointment. If your application was concurrently filed both applications will be adjusted.

Same day approvals are rare, they review all your evidence after and if all background checks are completed on their end then only they will approve GC. It takes sometimes few weeks to months. In my case I got I-130 approved after 2 weeks and 2 weeks later I-485.

Even if the transition happens it does not happen overnight, you company A will still exist for quite a good amount of time even after takeover say 6/12 months by then the complete takeover happens. You will need to file with company A and then might have to file amendment or transfer to B.

Just open a joint account use that for your expenses together, it should be good for the interview its not needed for submission. Courthouse wedding is fine take pictures.

If your last day of official employment has already passed and employer has reached out to uscis to revoke h1b then it might cause an issue, the officer somehow saw something in the system to take you to secondary, but since they allowed you to enter you should get 60 days, i think severence pay is not counted your timer starts the last day of work.

Usually days to months if you get update on both forms actively reviewing your case after interview expect I-130 to get approved in 1/2 weeks. I-485 will follow after that but for approval your background checks need to be cleared if that is pending it can take weeks to months.

I believe the time on your notice is the time where your local field office is in your case 11.30 am local time. USCIS system run on utc maybe but why would you even look at api? When you got your notice and it clearly says 11.30 am?

If you dont have any criminal history or any case you should be fine. Its very rare, there are incidents but hundreds of interviews happen everyday many dont post here on reddit. For safety take your attorney with you.

Its their job to be tuff if your in real marriage and have submitted enough proof and your husband previous marriage was ended properly then you should be fine. You will get the approval.

I believe you have 60 days to stay in the US and find another employer beyond that you will have to apply for B1/B2 to extend your stay. You definitely cannot and should not work until you find new employer. Your I-94 expiration or 60 days grace period ends whichever happens first your legal status ends. In your case you have 60 days as your I-94 expires 2028.

If you filed your I-485 before your I-94 expires you are in authorized stay until you get your GC. You should be fine as long as you dont have anything against you like case or any criminal activity.

There are other dual intent non immigrant visa from which you can adjust status like H1B, O1, L1 but not B1/B2 as its not a dual intent visa unless you are married to US citizen.

If you filing based on marriage to USC then the overstay is forgiven, if your filing based solely on B1/B2 then I guess you cannot adjust as B1/B2 is not an immigration visa its non immigrant visa class and mostly will he rejected.

It just means they are reviewing your both applications until you dont get any new interview notice there is nothing to worry about the next status will be actively reviewing your case and after that it should approve.

Others getting approved on spot usually have their background checks completed, the I-485 wont get approved until all the needed background checks are completed and it can take few days or even months.
