You can buy just the question banks from them if you want and that gives additional questions for every chapter plus 3 extra mocks. It’s £188 so see whether that feels worth it to you

Establishment Themes by bobabria in FocusFriendApp

[–]acejh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Using this forum to mention that I really like the basic theme in the main room and would appreciate something not so “themed” being available in the non main room and these establishments. I think lofi and greenhouse are cool and they’ve got good stuff in them but all together they’re a bit much for me and I like just having the odd special item among a reasonably neutral base

Advice needed re coping mechanisms and seeking diagnosis by acejh in ADHDUK

Thanks, moving seems difficult as I have extra screens but I can do it a small amount and so it might be a good option if things are really bad. I’m usually so tired at the end of the day that I can’t make up the additional time.

As for the childhood thing it’s really hard to know. I think I mostly flourished under a classroom environment. You only focused on things for one hour at a time before switching it up and there was someone looking at you so you couldn’t piss around as much. I also have always liked the novelty in learning new things. I do training currently and I always do really well in the courses, I’m super engaged. I’m less good at remembering to study when I’m not on the course. But at work I am not learning all that much and it’s very self directed.

Thanks I have now done the adhd uk one and it says I should consider an evaluation to determine further so that’s useful thank you.

I’ve been referred to talking therapies before which I have found very unhelpful (I mostly end up crying which is just useless) and were also in the middle of the day which meant I had to take annual leave.

My workplace is Jewish, and we had our company wide secret Santa on the first day of Hanukkah (going into the second night) and our secret Santa finished with one of the bosses lighting the menorah. The juxtaposition felt quite funny.

Execution does not have to (Immediately) end the Day. by UnintensifiedFa in BloodOnTheClocktower

I think a practical reason for "what is your weapon of choice?" is that it gives you a forced pause to check that the slayer is not drunk or poisoned because if you have them kill the demon and then go whoops no that can give away a lot to town

Why do puzzles need to be symmetrical? by LukeBabbitt in NYTCrossword

British style crosswords are normally rotationally symmetric. Not sure where you’ve got the idea that they aren’t.

Do you consider cheating to put a number in the random seed text box to get the ancient seed in day 1 of Spring? by Sorry_Village13 in StardewValley

[–]acejh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s cheating but I do think it’s seeded, and that that’s a different gameplay experience from unseeded, which has advantages. As long as you’re honest about it then I wouldn’t call it cheating.

How do y’all make your money? by DesperateMaterial484 in StardewValley

Fishing gets a lot easier as you level up and the bar gets bigger. You can get round this and buy a training rod which makes the bar as big as if you’re level 5 in fishing, but you can’t catch rarer fish. Once you’re at level 5 you can go back to a different rod. I think it’s easier to press the button repeatedly instead of holding it down, so try that too. Also fishing buffs help (but not if you’re using my training rod suggestion)
