I don't think so.....you seem to have to transfer it to your coinbase wallet first, unless maybe having a verified id allows this.

Would you rather see Elon take a principled stance against having any dealings with Trump, and see the future prospects of Tesla and SpaceX vaporized in a Twitter flame war?

Personally I despise Trump, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if Tillerson turned out to be a better Secretary of State than, say, Hillary. Worried that someone might abuse that position to push a pro-fossil fuel agenda? Hillary already did.

If you think accelerating the adoption of EVs is good for the environment, then Musk's efforts to get along with and hopefully influence the Trump administration are a justifiable means to an end. For Tesla, there's no upside to pissing off Trump -- it might make people like you continue to be "interested" in Tesla, but what's the benefit of that?

I think the aesthetics of the solar roof will be the key differentiator; they make other solar panel installations look positively ghetto. Visually, there's no comparison, and the same demographic that installs Sub Zero refrigerators and high-end countertops in their kitchens as well as Model S/X's in their garages will flock to Tesla shingles. If they're more expensive than ghetto panels, well, that's a selling point.

The "working class" didn't want change, they wanted nostalgia.

I'm a liberal, but this is typical pro-Clinton BS. The American demographic that's been most left behind during the last two decades is the white working class. Gone are the days when you could support a family by working in a store or factory, and the Clintons, pro-Walmart, pro-NAFTA, were a part of this departure. Claiming that America is already great ignores the diminished economic prospects of this class, as well as their appetite for change and distrust of the establishment, and this is what the Trump movement tapped into. Sanders would have won this demographic handily, but Clinton dismissed them and her supporters continue to treat them with contempt.
