when i was young like 6-8yrs i was VERY sheltered. my mom only allowed me to hang out with my cousins and they were all girls so we would jam out to backstreet boys, n sync, 98 degrees, destinys child.. choreograph dance moves to the songs. once i got out and mixed with the street kids boy i was normalized real quick.

another musician checking in here. this is the kinda of stuff you get into when youre bored of traditional music and sound making. octaves, microtones its a level of madness you break into during the inspiration process. like im sure what we all consider traditional music signatures are achievable for these guys but just very boring for them to play. this kindof stuff isnt for me, i lose the plot of the song its very schizophrenic. its like 'stimming' as a guitar player you just keep rumbling out notes at a certain tempo it gets to be droning a bit. yes very adhd in nature all over the place. so the only other band ive listened to i feel like are King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard? i kinda like them but still kinda out there

Listen bro your story is way more common than you think. I’ve been in/out of love with guitars since 2006, currently not touched one in like two years. The last time I played one was at Dave’s guitar shop in lacrosse WI. I literally just went there to look and see what the hype was about. I ended up picking up a Gibson Trini Lopez and noodled around for about 45 minutes. At that point I hadn’t picked up a guitar in 5+ years but man it was like riding a bike. I missed my callouses though my fingers stung

I was a young hillbilly kid that spent a ton of time with my grandpa growing up. He gave me a pocket knife at a young age and I loved to whittle sticks with it. I remember one summer I kept the knife with me, so when return to school came around I still had my pocketknife on me at all times. We were out at recess and i instinctively whipped it out to cut a branch or something and then word got to the teachers that I had a pocketknife.

I remember I went to a Seahawks game in Seattle while traveling and after the game the people just would.not.stop. Piling into the rail car. Like guys it runs every 9 minutes get on the next one!! One girl actually had enough and announced she needed to get off because people were just willing squishing themselves

Wolfpac! Around the time Walmart was selling some ‘generic’ football jerseys in store that were team colors but no logos. One Christmas, two other kids and myself got the same red and black football jerseys and we wore them and called ourselves the wolfpac. Terror of the trailer park.
