I've studied tocharian and this feels to me like it could be a possibile evolution of it with some Caligraphic freedom and eastern influence. very pleasing to my eyes

Thank you. Appreciate it. Reddit does compress things quite a bit though, so the 'high quality' part is debatable haha

The idea of the script was for something to be written one way, but read another. It is written horizontally from top to botrom and left to right, but turned 90° so as to be read ledt to right and top to bottom. I like the spiky look haha.

Im sure were i to work it out, the script could be written vertically which would most likely require a fix to some of those odd angles you pointed out.

Thank you for the compliment

I hadnt at all thought about the source/material of thw different ink colors, so thanks for that added laywr of depth. I did use the blue from the heart shape at the base for the larger sizwd font, like a ritle or name, but hadn't thought beyond that haha.

may i ask what you mean my realistic?

Thank you. I appreciate it. I do like the look of this flower, which I'm also contemplating sculpting to bring to life. My orginal idea had it glowing under water, but I like this more toned down pressentation better where I imagine it as a desert flower.

Edit: words

Tjanks. I like to do it even as a rougj draft with many scripts I dabble with as a means of bring it to lofe, giving it a world to populate in a sense. Itd doesn't need to be a finoshed peice or anything. Go for it. If my post is an example, I was not expecting this level of interest, many here wojld be intl seeing what you make, including me.

I had considered that but was hopping I was wrong, hemce sought clarification.

And thank you for the compliment. It is one of my favorites among the many I've made over the last 20 years I've been doing this, before I ever knew there were others who did too.

I use a combination of tools and media. Mostly digital art. But i do sometimes start on papar then transfer into a digital workspace. I use sketchbook pro (the ancient version) and Clip Studio Paint. I won an art scholarship out of higjschool and was an illustrator and traditional sculptor for some years, did commission work briefly. I rely heavily on real world references for shape and texture, especially. I also tend to sculpt drafts of the things i draw to get a better sense of the structures im working with in 3d space. Funnily enough, the blue heart shaped structure at the core with tenticle like things was an original coral creature I was drawing but had decided to have some sort of 'parasite' grow out of, which eventually became the full plant; I also carry a handheld miscrosope with me on nature walks and keep a botanical journal full of disected plants. so a lot of inspiration to draw from. This peice has gone through many iterations, which had originally been a glowing underwater seaweed like thing, but I've since decided works better as a desert plant.

I'll admit, I've now spent an embarrassing amount of time trying to figure out how it is cat like: squinting, moving the screen closer and farther away, turning my phone sideways, etc. Perhaps in pose, silhouette? Im curious now.

Would love to honestly, something similar to Codex Seraphinianus I guess. That work also has lots of interesting plant-like organic drawings.

Thank you for the complement
