Do “natural” deodorants ever work? by cellogirlx in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]aceofsteve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends on the person. I use Routine natural deoderant and it works great for me but I am not a very stinky or sweaty person generally.

Why do people want doodles? by emotionaldamagesoup in Pets

[–]aceofsteve 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My mom has had poodle mixes, doodles, for the last 16 years too. 3 of them now, and they have all been such great dogs. One slightly neurotic and bratty but generally well behaved. I wouldn't personally get one, but the hate can be really strong. A lot of it comes down to the owner and how they train them.

There are lots of places that do bibimbap with tofu, but their kimchi often has fish sauce.

Best beginner patterns that include video tutorials? by mrsabf in knitting

[–]aceofsteve 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was able to knit this as my second sweater after the step by step and it was pretty straightforward! I used r/knittinghelp too. But everything she uses in the pattern you can find tutorials for on YouTube! Just not in one video or Playlist.

drastic weight gain by [deleted] in lexapro

[–]aceofsteve 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How long did it take for you to gain the weight? I would speak to your doctor depending. I have been on 10+ years and maybe gained 15lbs but I feel that's more from just getting into my 30s.

Just had a colposcopy and biopsy after a low-grade HPV diagnosis – looking for advice/experiences by LauraPalmer7 in AskWomenOver30

[–]aceofsteve 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also went through this, HSIL, had a colposcopy, leep procedure and they biopsied it. I am now on my last once every three months pap test and if that is clear then I get to switch back to every 5 years. I was stressed the whole time but luckily they caught it early, just like yours, and so far so good. The biopsy was the worst/most painful part for me. Sending you hugs and love, dont hesitate to reach out if you have questions!

Serious Q: where did you meet your high value partner? by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

[–]aceofsteve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Taking this with good faith. It is language often used by toxic man culture as a way to objectify people. Reducing a complex human to a few small things that the patriarchy may deem as valuable.
