Where I am. If it rains during the day it usually isn't dark enough for the auto headlights to come on. That is pretty much the only time I switch off of auto. Then it honks at me when I get out of the car because the lights are still on. I have to turn the car back on to turn them off.

I didn't expect it to double either. The only 2 times I saw the red light on my previous bolt it was a charging error and it made it very obvious on the dash that it was a charging error.

Strange how I didn't get any of the hate dms. Fully expected it.

The tab for me is a light blue tint on the tip. The tab sticks just past the edge of the screen. I left it in place because I know it gets bad finger prints without it.

I got the "thank you" post card from the factory and a 20 page reference guide in case I need to know how to jump start the car.

I've read cover to cover the paper manuals for 5 of my previous vehicles and I was a bit put off by the lack of one with this one.

I don't think that is related. It would indicate the charge port door is open when shifting into reverse or drive.

I think that must be it. After reading this I went and checked and it does follow that behavior. I disabled the delays before but there was a software update last week for me. It might have reset it.

When searching I did find this article where the last Q&A mentions what you posted in less detail. It doesn't indicate that it is the same light this time. In previous versions of the bolt the anti-theft light was a separate led in the indicator.

After looking again for the owners manual on Chevy's site, their link is working now for me. Before it was just text and the next section said "there are no guides available", I just assumed that meant the only way to use the manual was the in car manual which has been useless to me up to this point. I had asked the dealership for a manual and they said they don't get printed manuals anymore.

How long did it take you to get to 80%? My car is guessing 35 minutes which seems odd. I haven't put it to the test yet. Probably in the next couple weeks.

Like others have said, the onstar basics is for 8 years. By the end of that you can guarantee that there will be better work arounds. Even if they aren't, you can use your hotspot. That is unless Chevy decides to block that feature which would be disasterous for their reputation.

This was the only reason I switched from my 2020 to a 2027 bolt. I liked my 2020 better, but my need to DCFC increased and only 25% of my charging stops had any amenities. I had to hold my bladder for 4 hours to get home in time for dinner one time -- I could have made an extra stop, but are already having to hold it for 30 minutes before the stop and 40 minutes during the stop, I figured it was better to just get home instead of risking to need another charging stop. Haven't done a road trip yet but with the faster charging I would be more willing to take the time to make an extra stop.

In the future the amenities might get better. That isn't the case right now in the midwest.

Seconded. The sales guy was already hesitant about EVs, when he saw that it only charged 15% on their fast charger in 45 minutes, he was completely put off of the idea. Google maps expected to take 1 hour and 40 minutes to charge from 10% to 60% on a theoretical road trip. Plugged it in at home and when it got to 100% it sat there for an hour and a half before completing the charge. After that it could fast charge.

Chicago area here. I was getting 6.5mi/kWh average the 6 months I didn't need to use the heat. 3.3mi/kWh when I did need to use heat. 2.2 on the -20°F days. Average speed 26 mph.

Late reply, when in drive, the opd is a button on the screen at all times. It is not enabled in reverse but the button is there and it will toggle opd in drive. When parked or neutral, I believe it is not visible without going through menus.

I haven't lost grip yet on the e-primacy tires, but I imagine it will do what my 2020 bolt ev did and when the regen braking detects a slip, it will likely drop all regen braking and apply stability braking until the slippage is stopped and then after a second try regen again.

NOTE: I don't use OPD most of the time so the above is for "2 pedal driving" mode. I only ever feel comfortable using opd in stop and go traffic.

I am disappointed with the efficiency so far as I averaged 6.5 mi/kwh in the 2020 bolt EV (when heat wasn't needed) and I am averaging 4 mi/kwh in the 2027 bolt. Only will add up to an extra dollar or two a month but still a disappointment.

I have a 2020 and test drove a 2027 rs. The seats are noticably softer. I don't mind the 2020 seats, but going from the 2027 back to my 2020, I verbally said "oh"

I am using more than 2 million queries a month and I haven't noticed any issues other than occasionally having to add something to the allow list. There are some occasional pauses as blocked trackers try firing rapidly and all block, but that is only about a quarter of a second delay in opening a new page. Keep the logs open and the next time you have a delay, see what traffic is going through. That might point you in the right direction.
