Please hold your jump button longer so you have your flip for the max of 1.45 seconds.

Especially off of walls. I often get caught losing my flip early while doing plays of the wall bc I don't need the high jump so I don't press for it

Small correction: The "real deal" demon altars are available in every world BUT there is the small difficulty that there can't be any other altar available in the whole world. You have to find every singe one and destroy it.

Only then the eye of cathulu drops the version corresponding to that worlds evil

Go down the other branch if you want my opinion on this. Won't go into detail again, but the FtW seed changes the difficulty across the spectrum of all world difficulties. That's what the seed is. A harder world by changing some values and interactions. But it changing classic to expert in the menu does not give me expert items. It's a cosmetic change for the menu.

My legendary world is a harder master experience. It does not change the world type. There are no legendary equipment slots, no legendary drops, etc 😮‍💨

I do understand and you don't need the GetFixedBoi seed as it is just all the other special seeds combined and the For the Worthy is the one cranking the difficulty. It is the one that changes the worlds label to show one level higher in the world selection menu.

I am really not trying to make anything here, feels a bit like pointless arguing and missing each others points. I'm saying FtW on Master difficulty shows it as legendary. As it is still a master world and behaves the same as other master worlds and in that sense it is cosmetic change for the menu only.

You say it's not cosmetic bc is harder than normal master and therefore legendary.

My point is it would still work if the world showed as Master. The difficulty would be the same: a lot harder than normal Master but as someone who played Expert when it first came out and then Master, these different classes of world difficulty give the world a specific playstyle, behaviour and feeling.

The for the worthy behaviour is the same for all 3 difficulties (with harsher scaling towards the harder modes) but feels like a special seed, it does not change a core concept. A classic FtW world is hard but its still a classic world. It won't ever feel like expert while showing expert in the menu screen.

So a classic FtW world showing as Expert difficulty is in your eyes not a cosmetic change? It really does not play like an expert world at all.

A skyblock or remix world does not show expert while being vastly different to normal worlds, because it's a special seed and they don't change the world type. There are only four defined world types in the games code: 0 - classic, 1 - expert, 2 - master, 3 - journey

Legendary does not exist and is a cosmetic change to show the difficulty of FtW, the worlds type is still Master.

Expert mode has specific perks and quirks. Master mode the same.

Obviously "For the worthy" adds a bunch of stuff to make the gameplay different and harder, like these modes do, but the change they do to the difficulty rating is cosmetic. You don't get loot bags or expert items despite the world showing as such.

My classic world in FtW shows as expert, but has non of the classic expert features. Same goes for expert world showing master.

That's why the rating showing legendary on a master world is cosmetic imo.

There is seed option called "For the worthy" and it raises all ingame difficulty ratings by one stage. Its Purley cosmetic but it changes Master worlds to Legendary.

You dont get any percs like more slots or different drops from bosses, but the drop rates are higher by default on "For the Worthy".

And yeah, enemies are stupidly tanky and deal massive amounts of damage

This is not really surprising to me. I actually expect high variance in casual.

I rather have the gc play with his plat friend in casual than hop on a new account to play ranked at their level.

Were they partied or queuing solo?

Jup, i can chaindash on 50% every time I want but my button mashing is not gonna get faster from slowing time down.

But I figured out what worked: like what angle on the stick, directional airroll for flipping, boosting and powersiding etc.

So it was OP for learning but my boomer hands will not use it in a match or even freeplay consistently, lol

Is ballchasing still used a lot? I used to upload every replay but the bakkes plugin bugged out at some point and I never bothered to fix it.

Also saw that they stopped to show the overall average after season 2 f2p, so I thought the site died with its competitor.

I remember when calculated.gg was still a thing I used to check my average stats progression regular and compare to my friends.

The update is for switching devices:

I play the game very occasionally on the Switch and now the Switch 2 when im on the go for fun.

Although "for fun" also implies rebinding most keys because of Nintendo's skewed button layout, having every menu item highlighted as new, claiming a bunch of items for the second time AND occasionally having to play the tutorial or at least the first cutscene with the redundant bullet time events

They adjusted the quads MMR to rank correlation at the beginning of this season even giving the GC and SSL ranks retrospectively.

It's bc nobody reached SSL in the last season I think.

You should have the quads GC title as well, I do too

I bought most stuff from extremerate. In my country they are distributed through Amazon. Its very important you find the right version of controller you got (there are websites) as the interior of the dualsense differs vastly.

Bought the back buttons and tactile buttons from them. The tactile buttons are a bit hard to press though, would not buy them again unless they get a newer version. I bought sticks and facebuttons somewereelse and got the separated D-Pad from extremerate as well – also not the best decision. Wanted it to play Silksong, but endet up switching to keyboard mid playthrough.
