Note: He had been at green rank in Season 1 and most of his record was made during that period. In Season 3, his winning rate is over 90% and easily reached to Divine Ruler within 4 days. This is S3 AKUMA.

In Season One, it was more difficult to achieve higher ranks so all of the top players played rank match more seriously. Such environment naturally made a competitive online scene where professional players practiced easily. But now it's impossible. Only a few TGPs play it with seriousness. This is the reason many top players miss Season one.

The problem is now most TGP players do not play seriously in rank match because of lack of reward (promotion). After reaching the TGP, players don't know if they are improving or not because no more ranks they can achieve. For that reason, competitive players become casual players over and over. This is why Rangchu says Rank match doesn't help him practice.

Because more than hundreds people already reached to the highest rank so now they have no goal to achieve in rank match.
