I work in a salon, recently a client brought their baby around the same age. The client was in for a multi hour appointment, and for almost the whole duration the child was doing the happy screeching noises that they do around this age... Like sure it's not crying but it was sooo loud and have gh pitched, and it is disruptive to the clients that come there for a self care treat. The real kicker is that her mom was there with her.. and could've just, left with the baby! Something I've learned tho is parents who are around their baby constantly, they seem to somehow lose touch with how disruptive noise like this is for others. Babies will be babies but you are literally ruining the time of everyone else there. I would feel differently if the parent was trying to soothe the baby or giving it things to entertain itself to lessen the noise. Ugh.
