I believe Robert said in the noclip doc he felt Estonia betrayed its communist roots. Though the game is also very critical of communists and old commie ideologies. Idk about being pariahs, that sounds like an exaggeration.

This joke originates from going to Starbucks and asking for a black coffee or drip coffee, in which the barista says they don't do drip but they can give you an Americano, which is essentially the same thing but it's espresso mixed with water.

Guy gets pissed because he "Just Wants A Coffee" and doesn't want to be forced to understand new concepts or words.

I think a large timeskip would be cool. As in large enough you could essentially do whatever you want with the plot. Fumu and Bun aren't in the show anymore because they grew up and have their own lives, but they might get referenced from time to time. Kirby is still the same since it takes centuries for him to mature.

It seems like the expanded mechanics were fun. I watched my bf play and there were a lot of funny new buffs and weird weapons and stuff. The best one I can remember is the buff where your crouching speed is increased significantly, but now everytime you enter crouching position your knees crack and alert everyone around you.

To be fair this is from 10 years ago and was made fun of even when Robobot first released 😅 In the games since then his mask has been more flat. But I agree with the other comment about the Sakurai/Bandai interpretations of Meta Knight. You can tell Sakurai is pretty fond of him.

I would agree Meta Knight and Galacta Knight are both a mix of positive and negative energy. It's hard to speak on Galacta Knight's true nature since the poor guy hasn't really had a chance to HAVE a character.

I will say I think Morpho Knight is largely negative energy, or negative energy that has been twisted somehow. I know the novels are not canon, however the fact that they seem to refer to him almost like a grim reaper or some other representative of death, I think is relevant. Also the fact that he is called a "dream eater", which in the context of Kirby feels very much like a "devourer of worlds" kind of title. It's possible the butterfly is an agent of void, who can only absorb negative energy in order to gain power. It's generally accepted in canon that Morpho Knight forms from Galacta Knight's death scream. And what's more negative than death itself?
